Great to meet you all! My name is Tomas and I'm a passionate violin teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience. I have a strong academic background in music and education. My name is Pia. I am a singer, songwriter, actress and voice teacher. I teach singing classes and vocal techniques to speak better in public. Our voice is a complex instrument that is directly connected to the state of the body and mind, and therefore many different aspects are touched on in vocal work. PhD at the University of Barcelona Karen has performed with ensembles such as the Amazonas Chamber Orchestra, Amazonas Philharmonic Orchestra, Corona Symphony, La Cañada Symphony, and the Korean American Young Symphony, appearing at venues including the Amazon Theater, Zipper Hall, Royce Hall, and Walt Disney Concert Hall. In Los Angeles, she contributed to recordings for Amazon Prime’s Cross, Netflix’s Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, and NASA’s 25th anniversary album “X Into Darkness”, recorded at Sony Pictures. She also appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show, The Voice America, and the CBS Family Awards. Beyond performing, Karen is passionate about teaching. She has taken part in music festivals such as Gramado in Concert (Brazil) and directs the educational program “Cello in Concert” at Smart Music School in California. Her teaching approach blends solid technique, musicality, and expressive freedom — helping each student build confidence and joy through the cello.

In this course, I will teach you the first steps to start playing classical piano. We will begin to do some hand placement exercises, scales, arpeggios and different exercises and then begin to play simple works, which will become more complicated over time. Since the beginning of my artistic violin studies at the Higher Conservatory of Music in Würzburg, Germany, I discovered teaching as my passion and worked as a violin teacher teaching children, teenagers and adults of all levels, both beginners and advanced.
