Trusted teacher: “Don't play the saxophone. Let it play you.” - Charlie Parker - Everyone of us has is own musicality, we have just to let her come out. The goal of my lesson is to let you discover how much fun and passion music can gives. Music has no age: you're never too young or too old to tell yourself through a musical instrument. If you love and recognize yourself in the warm sound of the saxophone then what are you waiting for!? Let's start this wonderful Music journey Together :) “Whatever you think can't be done, somebody will come along and do it.” – Thelonious Monk SAXOPHONE LESSON: To learn how to transfer your musical ideas into the saxophone is required a total connection between your body and your mind with the horn. That's why for the first part of every lesson will be focused on the Sound and the saxophone technique. You need to learn how to build your own saxophone tone and how to sing into the instrument. This process can take some weeks for really beginners but it'll show you how the musical practice can positive effect your all body and emotions, as well as your creativity. In order to make your music journey more fun and personal my lessons will be based on your music interests and purpose (learn how to read music, improvisation ecc...) During this journey together we'll build your own repertoire of songs that most represent you, which we'll dedicate the second part of the lesson. FOR NERDY ;) For those who wants to go deeper into the world of saxophone I'll organize some special 'listening section' focus on the the role of Saxophone in the music history and in the different kind of music. From the classical repertoire (Gershwin, Bizet, Milhaud, Rota, Bernstein, Steve Reich, Michael Nyman...) passing through the more popular: Blues, Jazz (Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderly, Sonny Rollins...), latin , rock&roll, Pop until nowadays. We'll listen to the milestones of the great composers and performers that have made the history of this fantastic instrument. I'm sure It'll be a journey of discovery the beauty of the music to which this instrument has made, and a big inspiration for you to grow the passion toward this amazing form of art.

Trusted teacher: - Preparation for auditions for Bachelor level study, Master level study and orchestra audition. - Preparation for graduation exam (Bachelor/Master) - Preparation for national/international competitions - all categories - Working with very talented younger violinists - Working on interpretation of standard violin concert repertoire (concerts with orchestra, virtuoso peaces, sonatas, interpretation and playing of contemporary compositions as well as trio-quartet chamber music literature) - Consultations for young violin-viola teachers Hi everyone, my name is Volodja and I teach violin as "Full Professor" at Music Academy of Ljubljana University: Third-level teaching to Bachelor and Master students. Teaching is my great passion over 40 years and represents an important complement to my artistic activities as an internationally touring violin soloist and chamber musician, for which I have received several international music awards. I am excited to pass on my wealth of teaching and "on the stage" experience and sharing the "violin playing knowledge", that I got it in the past during my regular violin studies with such wonderful teachers and artists as Igor Ozim and members of Amadeus quartet in Cologne, Galina Barinova and Grigori Zhislin in Moscow, Josef Suk and Klaus Maetzl in Vienna, Josip Klima in Zagreb and Franco Gulli (Masterclasses). I am particularly proud of my current and former students who have won several national and international prizes. Many of them already have important positions in various orchestras, chamber music groups as well as professional teaching positions in Europe and USA. I also regularly give violin and chamber music master classes worldwide (Trinity Laban Conservatory in London, Music University in Vienna, Interlocken Art Academy in Michigan, Music Academy in Zagreb, ESTA (European string teachers association) conference 2020 in Porto to name a few). My first responsibility as a teacher is "to take care" of my students and guide them step by step, always having clear short- and long-term goals for them. I have an individual approach towards each of my students. I always try to show my students how to achieve maximum results through appropriate way of practicing and time-management. I teach my students to be independent, organized and responsible. The most important teaching elements, I take care on all levels of teaching process: - To keep in mind that everybody is different and to treat everyone as an individual! - To teach singing on violin, even if playing exercises and scales. - To support individual creativity on all levels - To teach how to practice and how to organize practicing time - time management - Taking care to listen to yourself "objective" and how important it is for all aspects of playing: technique (sound control, intonation, rhythm etc) and musical phrasing with final goal - "interpretation". - To choose the right selection of violin pieces (concerts, sonatas, short pieces etc.) and right exercises according to student/pupil's level - Building a solid violin basic technique and to take care for it on all levels - work on intonation problems and tonal restrictions, bowing solutions etc. - Regular intensive work on scales, "etudes" and other exercises for left and right hand - To take care of synchronization and "timing" of left-right hand. - Dealing with nervousness and finding solutions how to prevent being "too nervous" on the stage I love to give violin lessons for pupils of "Second teaching level" mostly of age 14-19 and "First teaching level - beginners and 1-6 years of playing, but preferable with the agreement of pupil's regular violin teacher or in special cases after previous appointment.

Ana - Belgrade, SerbiaC$98
Trusted teacher: Hello, I'm Ana and I'm a graduated violist, a permanent member of Symphony orchestra "Stanislav Binicki" in Belgrade, Serbia. Before passing the audition in an orchestra in January of 2017, I was a professor of viola and violin in a special boarding school for musically gifted children "Skola za muzicke talente Cuprija", for five years. The school is founded and lead by the "Academy of music arts" in Belgrade. There are three schools in the world of that kind: in London, Moscow, and Serbia. My students got 25 1st and few 2nd awards in the republic and international competitions, and all of them signed in to desired academies in Germany, Canada and Serbia as first on the list and with full scholarships. We still keep in touch :) I was a member of the Royal chamber orchestra St. George for four years and took part in many world tours. I played also in National Radio and Television Orchestra in Serbia, Orchestra of National theater of Serbia, National Symphony orchestra of Montenegro and National Symphony orchestra in Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I was a member of orchestras which took part in projects "Bridges for the future" in Bern, Switzerland, “Festival Junger Kunstler”, Bayreuth, Germany, “Deutsch-Skandinavischen Jungend-Philharmonie” in Berlin, “Music days international festival” in Russe, Bulgaria, etc. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the 3rd year of studies in Management for culture and media, on the Faculty of Dramatic Arts, Belgrade. I tend to explain to students as simple and as effective as possible. My students enjoy classes, love to play and ask many questions :) I insist on good technique and posture because even if it takes a little bit more time in the beginning, it makes future progress easy and fast.

Singing & Recording Lessons with a Professional Singer. (Brussels)
Juliett

rating green star
I have wanted singing lessons for some time; I had them briefly in my youth and I sing and play guitar for a hobby. Juliett showed me some good tips already in the first lesson and left me some good warming up techniques that I shall practice every day before a our next lesson. Juliett is very friendly and before I knew it she had me singing high notes I did not know I was capable of reaching. The lesson was fun, I enjoyed every second and I’m looking forward to the next. She clearly has a beautiful voice herself and knows the correct techniques using classical methods to get the most out of a voice. We looked at what I wanted to sing, not what she wanted me to sing. Learning should be fun and I’m confident my singing voice will get better over time with these techniques that are used by professional singers worldwide. 100% this is a five star review; I would give a thousand stars, but the limit is five.

I've been working with Professor Volodja for some time and I have to admit that I've never felt better while playing and that I have never made much progress in such a short time. The energy that the professor brings to the teaching and his spirit make violin lessons incredibly fun and encourage even more effort and even more persistence . To all those who are interested in studying with Professor Volođa, I warmly recommend that they do so, because this is a man who demonstrates in the right way what zeal and love for music a musician should have.
