Scales, arpeggios, double stops, and mechanics exercises: Feuilleard, Sevsik, Cossmann, Starker, Tortelier.... 15min to work on whims, studies and technical works by Popper, Piatti, Dotzauer, Duport, Lee, Servais, Lindley, Franchomme, Grutzmacher etc. 35min of free repertoire, working on a multitude of styles, techniques and languages. ARTISTIC BIOGRAPHY: His work ranges from modern music recordings at Abbey Road Studios to concerts for the BBC, New Generation Baroque 2021. Recent doctorate and scholarship with Distinction at the Royal College of Music in London (Artist Diploma), Javier has also studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Rebecca Gilliver, London Symphony Orchestra, as well as at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, Netherlands and the COSCYL of Salamanca. He currently works as a cellist giving concerts throughout the country, as a researcher at the National Library of Spain and is studying a degree in Musicology at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. Whether you're an experienced musician or a beginner, in this class you'll learn to play the piano in a relaxed yet challenging way that will help you improve and achieve your goals. I'm a young but experienced and enthusiastic piano teacher. I've dedicated my entire life to creating music, and it's my passion to pass this knowledge on to others. I've had many private students of all ages and levels and have worked in several music academies. My specialty is classical music, but I can also teach other styles of music (pop, jazz, minimalism, etc.), although I like to mix them all for a broader view and repertoire. Music theory, solfeggio, harmony, counterpoint, and music history classes are also available separately for a more in-depth approach, but you'll also learn about them while playing the piano! All ages and levels are welcome, it's never too late to start learning something new!

The classes are intended to lead the student towards a better ability to master the instrument and musical subjects, or if they are beginners, to lay good foundations. An important part of the course is dedicated to finding an effective study method suited to the student's attitudes. The instrumental classes include a part of technique according to the level and a part of study of the repertoire. The theoretical classes develop all aspects of musical language (music theory, theory, auditory training and basic singing). In the same class, practice and theory can be brought together. The music history classes have a time dedicated to guided listening and delving into some topics.

We follow a working method where you will continuously and deeply develop your musicality, way of playing, expressiveness and technique. -------------------------------------------------- ---------------------- Raúl is a Spanish saxophonist who finished his DIDACTIC MASTER in 2018 at the École Supérieure des Arts in Mons. Previously, he also completed a MASTER OF INTERPRETATION at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (2015-2017) in the class of Alain Crepin and Simon Diricq. He studied at the "Musikene" (Higher Conservatory of Music of the Basque Country) with Eric Devallon, Tomás Jérez, Antonio Felipe Belijar and Miguel Ángel Lorente. Passionate about multidisciplinary artistic creation, he thinks of the mixing of all the arts in the same show as an aesthetic goal. This type of research could be observed in his project for his final master's recital in Brussels where he created a project based on Maslow's theory of the hierarchy of human needs where he mixed live, recorded music, dance, light shows and effects under the name: “according to Maslow... ” In terms of his career as a concert artist, he has played in different ensembles (solo performances, duo, trio, quartet, orchestra...) and different countries such as Japan (Artisanal Musical Fair "Suono Italia" 2010), Belgium (Festival Musiq3 2016), Artonov Festival at BOZAR in 2016...), France (Dax chamber music festival 2011) or Spain (Music Festival “Quincena Musical” 2015, Aste Nagusia 2015, Heineken Jazzaldia 2014, Festival Kutxa 2015, Intercentros Melómano 2010).

In this course I teach you to become familiar with the scores of the Gregorian Chant and its Vatican notation, which works in tetragram instead of staff, and does not have the conventional rhythmic figures. We will learn the Gregorian symbols and ways, while also awakening the voice and gaining notions of Latin, history and liturgy.
