I specialise in teaching maths and science to students of all ages. I feel the best way to stay motivated and challenged when studying these subjects is constant reference to exam questions after studying the content. Application of knowledge is essential and I aspire to efficiently teach my students how to do that.

I’m a maths and English as a foreign language tutor in Budapest whose goal is to share the excitement about the subjects I had the fortune of seeing from my own teachers. I have been teaching since September 2023. I had the opportunity to teach 5+ students simultaneously (in Hungarian and English) and help them pass AP College math courses, tests in school, go through their studies with remarkable grades and brush op on their language skills for the workplace. The most important thing to me is that the student has someone they can rely on. This means my focus is on answering questions to my best knowledge, describing things through different perspectives and making sure they don’t feel the pressure to learn something at an instant.

Throughout my years in school, I have taught math to many of my friends and classmates. I understand that math may not be everyone’s cup of tea and that some students like it more than others. I strive to be understanding and patient with all my students during lessons as everyone has different abilities and educational backgrounds. I completely understand the frustration of trying to grasp something and not getting it. Math often feels like that. With all the numbers and variables involved, math can be tedious and overwhelming to many students. This course is aimed at strengthening weaknesses in mathematical foundations and simplifying concepts for better understanding. Topics covered in this course: Pre-algebra Algebra Trigonometry Pre-calculus AP Calculus AB SAT Math Note: Many of these topics overlap with the British GCSE and A-Level Mathematics. If in doubt please contact me. The most efficient way to teach a class is to be prepared in advance, so I have adopted that policy. Please contact me via Apprentus with the topics you want me to cover so that I can prepare them in advance and make the class a fun learning experience!

Math makes sense and is intuitive but after after you pass the first step: the steel door...it just needs a key and a bit of patience and you are in. I teach math for IGCSE O-level students- Core and extended Education & experience : I'm a B.Sc graduate from the University of South Africa I have many years of experience in teaching math Class: I usually start with an assessment class to determine your level Design a student-specific class according to their level and their needs Go through the lesson clarify new terms then do the exercises Identify weak point and common mistakes then remedy them Assign home work and provide progress report. Revision and feed back : Create a concise summary Go through homework and learn lessons from mistakes Go through past papers Help the student use their time efficiently Give important exam tips ( time management, ..) And much more..

Experience the best of both worlds in this engaging class that combines the joys of a book club with the challenges of a maths club. Students will participate in lively discussions about their favorite books, exploring themes and characters in novels like "Harry Potter." Imagine debating the strategies used by the heroes, then switching to solve real-time math problems like calculating the time it takes Harry to reach Hogwarts. This integrated approach promotes critical thinking and creativity, as students analyze stories and collaborate on mathematical puzzles, helping them excel in both reading and maths. This integrated approach doesn’t stop there. Imagine a group project where you design a budget for a fictional event from your book, balancing costs for decorations, food, and entertainment, thereby applying practical maths skills in a creative context. Or, consider solving logic puzzles that parallel the mysteries faced by your favorite characters, enhancing both your problem-solving abilities and your enjoyment of the narrative. In this class, i will teach how the analytical skills children develop in maths enhance your understanding of literature, and how the creativity you cultivate through reading enriches your approach to mathematical problems.
