Inspiring and enthusiastic math and physics tutor with 8 years of experience.Translate this text using Google Translate.

I have graduated with a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Edinburgh, UK. I am also an Erasmus Mundus scholar with a master's in Analytical Chemistry from Uppsala University. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in physical chemistry. I have been tutoring since 2012 to fund my education expenses. I formally began tutoring in 2014 as part of my vocational training as a teacher in Ghana, funded by the University of Edinburgh. The formal training has taught me a lot about curriculum development, time management, and fusing my teaching methodology to my students’ needs. I have been tutoring in Physics, Chemistry, and Math, in person and online; the hybrid model has allowed me to reach out and teach students in 8 different countries. I have successful students from these past nine years who have not only commended my work ethic but can also stand testament to my enthusiasm. My excellent academic career has nurtured in me a natural talent for teaching. My experiences have taught me how to tackle one problem at a time, and I believe that using this approach—paired with my unconventional examples that force students to think outside the box—I can truly provide an excellent understanding and explanation. My teaching methodology is based on two main things: skill development and adaptation. Initially, I create a skeleton of the most suitable methodology tailored to the preferred curriculum, after which, I adapt that lecture to the specific needs of the student based on their knowledge and grasp of the concepts. Second, I like to develop analytical and scientific ability along with knowledge in my students, and for that, I use a combination of resources in the form of worksheets, class tasks, and past papers. Last, I believe in the strong ethic of providing feedback to the parents, so that they are aware of their child’s progress. Frequently Asked Questions: Which subject(s) do you teach? I teach math, mechanics, statistics, chemistry and physics. I also teach biology up to GCSE level. When are you available? My timetable is quite flexible. I am happy to work weekdays, week evening and weekends. Which ages and levels do you teach? The majority of my students are between the ages of 10-18, but I also teach college Students. I am also helping foundation and first year university students. Which qualifications do you prepare your students for? GCSE, IGCSE, A/S-level, A-level, IB, School entrance exams and SATs Describe your arrangements for online tutoring? I use Zoom online sessions since it has many tools and features specially designed for interactive and visual learning. I am fully equipped with modern gadgets for e-learning. I use Google drive and docs to share files.

Excellence in Math, Physics, Chemistry - Average of 19 - New program 2025Translate this text using Google Translate.

I am a qualified engineer from Arts et Métiers ParisTech and followed a preparatory class, accumulating more than 10 years of experience as a private mathematics teacher. My goal is to help your child reach their full academic potential in mathematics and develop skills that will prepare them for a bright future. Why choose my courses? Would you like your child to: Significantly improve your results in mathematics/physics-chemistry? Join a selective curriculum? Become independent and confident in your abilities? Over the last 5 years, I have had the privilege of supporting more than 30 French students, from middle school (sixth, fifth, fourth, third) to high school (second, first, terminale), towards academic success. My students obtained good averages, passed the certificate, the baccalaureate and the preparatory classes, while strengthening their self-confidence. My teaching method in 3 steps: Short term: Immediate improvement in average by assimilating the course and preparing for assessments. This includes assimilating the course, taking notes, practicing standard exercises, anticipating teachers' expectations and test questions, as well as acquiring writing methods. Medium term: Integration of reasoning and working methods. Your child will learn to work regularly in this order: assimilation, training exercises, preparation for assessments and analysis of results. Long term: Establishing clear goals, building the steps to achieve them, realizing the SIMPLICITY of mathematics, building confidence in your abilities and unlocking your child's potential. Details of the formula: One to two sessions of 1h30/2h per week to assimilate the course and prepare for the evaluations. Classes delivered via Google Meet for effective online learning. Mathematics - KS3, GCSE, A-Level, IB, Foundation and university level.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics - KS3, GCSE, A-Level, IB, Foundation and university level.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Mathematics has always been one of my strongest subjects and a major part of my academic background. I achieved A*s in both Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-Level and have a strong background in mathematical problem-solving and competitions. My achievements include medals in Mathematics Olympiad competitions in Iran, a Distinction in BMO1 (British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1) and a Gold Award in the Senior Mathematical Challenge. I teach Mathematics from KS3 through GCSE, A-Level, IB, Foundation and university level. I can support students with both standard curriculum mathematics and more challenging problem-solving and Olympiad-style questions, depending on their level and goals. I have been tutoring since high school and particularly enjoy breaking difficult mathematical ideas into clear, manageable steps. Rather than simply teaching students to memorise methods, I focus on developing their mathematical intuition and showing them how to approach unfamiliar problems independently. Lessons can be 60, 90 or 120 minutes and are tailored to each student. We can focus on strengthening fundamentals, schoolwork, exam preparation, past papers, advanced topics or competition mathematics. My aim is to help students achieve stronger results while developing genuine confidence and problem-solving ability in mathematics.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

GCSE and A-Level Maths and Physics tuition in Birmingham, taught by a qualified engineer and university lecturerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I teach one-to-one Maths and Physics to GCSE, A-Level and university students, online and in person around Birmingham. I hold an MSc in Electronics and Electrical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Chester, where I now teach and assess postgraduate students as a visiting lecturer. Alongside that I've been tutoring privately for several years, across GCSE, A-Level and first-year university modules. I've published two international conference papers, so the maths I teach isn't something I learned once and repeat from a textbook. I use it. What I cover: GCSE Maths and Physics, all exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR and Eduqas A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics University Maths and engineering modules for science and engineering students Individual topics including algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics and logic How I teach: Every student starts in a different place, so the first thing I do is find out what they actually understand rather than what the syllabus assumes they should. From there I break difficult ideas into small steps, work through plenty of examples, and set focused practice between sessions. I care more about a student knowing why a method works than memorising the steps, because understanding is what survives exam pressure when a question is worded unfamiliarly. Lessons are structured but relaxed. Students should feel comfortable asking the questions they think are silly, because those are usually the ones that matter most. I'm patient with mistakes and honest about what still needs work. If a student isn't ready for a topic, I'll say so and we'll go back a step rather than pretend otherwise. Term has just started, which is the best point in the year to build a routine before mocks in November and December. If your child is beginning Year 11 or Year 13, or retaking GCSE Maths this November, putting support in place now makes a real difference by the time the real papers arrive.

UNIVERSITY of CAMBRIDGE - C E L T A Level 4 -------> EXPERIENCED TEACHER -TUTOR ----- Since 1985 ! UNIVERSITY of GLASGOW - B S c HONS ------>- Began Over 35 YEARS AGO ! The Open UNIVERSITY - Q T S Skills Tests SIR Robert Black College of EDUCATION - SPECIAL EDUCATION CERTIFICATE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Testimonies --------- In just 5 and 1/2 days in February, 2022, I was beginning to transform almost roughly half a secondary school's children ! A Laboratory Technician & Former Senior Mathematics Teacher liked what I was doing - and noted I was the only teacher at the school she saw using my methods ! The Head of Science wanted its success for her own children ! The Head of Physics wanted its success for his own children ! The school cleaners liked and agreed strongly with what I was doing ! Children kept clapping hands for me in different classes ! The most dangerous [ latent murderer ] boy, Will, was transformed by my 6th day ! His rebellious classmate, Jackson, was transformed by the 5th day ! From my 1st day to my 6th last day teaching at the school as a Supply Teacher, children kept calling out in the Playgrounds. That week I was helped by 72 million pastors & members of Christ Embassy praying from 6am for the children of the world and the Lord Jesus Christ answered miraculously our prayers. 92% Mathematics - By A Blackwood Girl NOT In Top Sets - c 7 Lessons ONLY ! In just 6 months of Home Tuition, 7 A, A, A, A, A, A & A* - BY A LOWEST SET Cardiff High School GCSE BOY ! 100% SUCCESS - with zero rejection of learning - BY DYSLEXIC CHILDREN - Since 2016 ! ALL BECAUSE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HAS BLESSED MY PEDAGOGICAL METHODS - Since 1985 ! Thanks to Him, He used me to bless many families - since I entered school teaching in 1992 ! EXPERIENCED TEACHER - I BEGAN TEACHING OVER 35 YEARS AGO ! HOME - SCHOOL - UNIVERSITY - BUSINESS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since c 2014, I naturally flowed into being able to make many students of EVEN LOW GRADES just aim successfully for TOP GRADES from the 1st day of my tuition if they will wholly follow my methodology properly. Eg * 7 A, A, A, A,A ,A & A* - By A BOTTOM Sets GCSE Boy - In 6 Months' Tuition ! * Within 7 to 31 days, they would be transformed by my 2 - point pedagogical learning method : 1 == I tell them what daily activities to remove and replace - so that their brains will not be lethargic nor lazy any more ; they will suddenly brighten up ! As I teach them how to not to waste their time writing poorly, but to invest their time to properly write in straight lines - using my James Writing Method - their handwriting improves extremely well once they remove the brain cognitive hindrances ! This is the reason why I CONFIDENTLY am able to change many students to aim for TOP GRADES from the 1st day of my tuition ! Testimony ------ One Luton GCSE girl was even HEALED OF CHRONIC MIGRAINE by following my advice on what to remove from her daily life and how to replace them with other wholesome activities. Her mental omissions also got HEALED. She, of course, began to learn far better within 4 weeks of following my directions properly. 2 == Coupled to removing mental cognitive hindrances, I use EASY WAYS TO TEACH MAKING UNDERSTANDING OF CONCEPTS far easier.

“ Mounir has been tutoring my daughter for a few months (French syllabus, 3eme - Brevet level). She loves the lessons and looks forward to their weekly Zoom meeting. Mounir easily builds a good rapport with his students and makes lessons interesting and fun, building confidence along the way. He is methodical and organised in his approach and makes sure to go over any aspects of the lessons which may have been less well covered in class, leaving the student with a solid grasp of the entire syllabus. He also recommended alternative revision cards and exercise books with corrections which my daughter finds much more user friendly than the ones provided at her school. Overall a very satisfactory experience and we would recommend Mounir without hesitation to anyone looking for an excellent maths tutor. ”
