I am an Italian pianist, I graduated at F. Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. I offer piano lessons to students of all levels. The lessons will be held in English, French or Italian (basic German). I will support beginners and advanced students with basic music theory knowledge and technical principles of piano playing. I also prepare students for examinations, auditions, competitions, working on piano technique and musical aspects.

My whole biography: Klára has started playing the piano at the age of four at music school in Mariánské Lázně under the guidance of her mother Marie. Since 2024 she has studied at University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. Since childhood she has regularly participated in national and international competitions. In November 2023 she was awarded the 2nd prize at Soutěž Nadace Bohuslava Martinů, further she won f. e. the 1st prize at the “Broumov key”, the 2nd prize at the Ile-de-France international competition in Paris and the 2nd prize at the Fryderyk Chopin international competition in Mariánské Lázně. In December 2022, she received the title of laureate at the Prague Conservatory's international competition “Young Piano”, where she was also awarded the main prize "Young Piano Talent". In 2021, she won 2nd prize and a special prize for her interpretation of Stravinsky/Agosti's Firebird (1st prize not awarded) in the international competition Virtuosi per musica di pianoforte, 3rd prize in the international competition Bach's Way in Dobřany and 3rd prize in the Brno ́s piano competition. In the year 2020, she was awarded the "Pilsen ́s Orfeus'' award for representing the Pilsen region in the field of classical music, namely for the 3rd prize in the “Broumov key” competition. She has performed with several orchestras in the Czech republic. In the season 2024/2025 she performed with Janáčkova Filharmonie in Ostrava as a soloist of the first Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto. In June 2023 and 2025 she was invited to the Academy in Villecroze for masterclass. In 2021, she got the opportunity to attend the Ševčík Academy in the class of Lukáš Vondráček and Yuri Shadrin. Now she collaborates with Ševčík academy as an accompanist.

I offer piano lessons for adults and children, tailored to your goals and preferences. Each lesson lasts 45 minutes. Lessons are conducted in English, German and Russian. I teach piano at home in Vienna’s 3rd district and online on a beautiful Yamaha piano. I have a full class of 13 students. Each semester, I organize a recital. If they wish, even my online students can take part through a live stream :) I am an award-winning pianist in international competitions, a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky (BA), and currently a student at the Anton Bruckner University in Austria (MA). I have developed my own teaching methodology, which varies depending on the student's age, skill level, and preferences. With extensive teaching experience for both adults and children, I have completed pedagogical practice and a piano teaching methodology course at the Moscow Conservatory. I teach beginners from scratch, prepare school students for exams, competitions, concerts, and entrance exams. Additionally, I teach solfeggio, music theory, ear training, rhythm development, hand positioning, and stage performance skills. I work on both classical repertoire and any pieces the student desires. I create custom arrangements for my students, including simplified versions of difficult pieces. My online setup makes the lessons feel just like in-person: I use a tripod to demonstrate my hands and provide an online screen display for sheet music. After each lesson, I send video tutorials for clear, visual examples.

Hello! I teach private piano lessons to adults and children at all levels. My methods of teaching varies on each individual. I generally start to focus on music theory, techniques, repertoire and understanding music emotionally using dynamics, feeling, touch and hearing skills. The emotional part of music is very prominent when I teach, it is very important for the student to enjoy what they're learning and to also have access to be able to express themselves through music. Some students are better at learning by ear, improvising and composition, some other students are better with music theory and learning repertoire. Depending on the student, I usually work on their strengths to keep their interest and eventually move on to the more difficult aspects of music and learning how to play the piano! I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. I firmly believe in the importance of knowing how to read music and this is exactly what I teach first, obviously adapting the method to the age of my students: knowing how to read music is knowing one more language, which, if learned well, won’t ever be forgotten (like riding a bicycle!) and it is an invaluable wealth. Starting from that point I teach the position of the hand, the arm and the whole body at the piano, the fundamentals of the piano technique (giving great importance to the percussive movement of the finger and the distribution of weight), the understanding of musical language, the expression of the personality through the keyboard, the search for touch and knowledge of piano repertoire.

Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.
