A little bit about my background... Currently I’m running a school in Japan and I work as a headteacher. I have 10 years of teaching experience in both English and Japanese, providing group lessons and private lessons primarily in Japan and Toronto. I grew up in Japan, therefore, I am fluent in Japanese. Besides English and Japanese, I’m also fluent in Farsi. After graduating from a Japanese high school, I went to University of Toronto to study Life Science and graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science. I was hired as a language teacher in one of the language school located in downtown Toronto. While I was in Toronto, I aimed to provide maximum opportunities for both Japanese and foreign students to share their perspectives and opinions on different topics while understanding cultural, habitual and historical differences. I have always been eager to learn different language and I had always loved teaching outside of work during my free time, which led me to build my career in education and I have obtained many years of professional teaching experiences over time. My name is Ron, a dedicated Dutch tutor based in Suriname. Originally trained as an HVAC engineer with the intention of continuing my father’s legacy, I transitioned into teaching during the pandemic after discovering my passion for language education. This shift allowed me to embrace remote work while connecting with learners globally. With a friendly and adaptable approach, I prioritize creating engaging, personalized lessons that foster confidence in conversational Dutch. Do you want to start learning Japanese and build a solid foundation? I offer online lessons at the beginner level (JLPT N5), with structured explanations and practical exercises. The focus is on understanding basic grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structure, so you can read and form simple sentences. What will we cover? Depending on your pace, we'll work on: • Hiragana and Katakana • Basic vocabulary (JLPT N5 level) • Elementary grammar • Sentence structure • Reading exercises • Basic listening comprehension • Simple conversation exercises The emphasis is on structure and comprehension, not on rapid progress.
