My teaching method is based on three pillars: listening, structure and personalized progression.
1. A first meeting to understand the student
Before beginning, I take the time to discuss with the student (and their parents, if necessary) to identify their strengths, challenges, work pace, and goals. This allows me to tailor the sessions to their real needs.
2. A clear organization of each course
Each session follows a precise structure:
A quick review of the previous lesson, to check that the knowledge has been properly understood.
A clear explanation of the new content, with concrete examples and suitable support (fact sheets, videos, mind maps, etc.).
Practical exercises to apply the lesson and reinforce the concepts covered.
A final summary, so that the student leaves with a clear vision of what they have learned.
3. Active and caring teaching
I make it a point of honor to value the student's efforts, to encourage them and to build their confidence. I vary the materials and approaches (oral, written, games, role-playing, etc.) to make learning lively and motivating.
4. Regular monitoring
After each session, I can provide a brief written assessment that I can share with the parents if desired. This allows me to monitor progress, adjust the content if necessary, and stay connected with the family.
5. Visible results
Thanks to this method, my students gain autonomy, rigor, and confidence. Many progress quickly and rediscover a love of learning.
