Hej! My name is Steaph, I am a harpist from Scotland. I have lived in Copenhagen for 4 years. I am an experienced and professional musician, and a passionate teacher. I am happy to teach students of any age (6+) and anybody from absolute beginners, to advanced students. Being from Scotland, where the lever harp is a traditional instrument, I have a lot of experience with celtic and folk music. I am a professional classical musician in Copenhagen, but I also have a passion for arranging and performing pop music! QUALIFICATIONS Master of Music The Royal Danish Academy of Music- 2023 (Harp) 1st Class Bachelor of Music with Honors- 2017 (Royal Northern College of Music) What to expect from my lessons: I believe that everybody has the ability to play music and I can help you improve your confidence with my positive and encouraging attitude! This includes everybody from absolute beginners who have never performed in front of anybody. I like to provide a fun and relaxed atmosphere for my students to be able to play to the best of their ability. I can help you develop a healthy technique: every student I have is different therefore I introduce exercises for each of my students according to their abilities and goals. I love to help students with the interpretation and performance of different pieces in any genre. I can help you to create a practice plan that is unique to your needs, time and goals.
