French as a foreign language is the French language when it is taught to a non-French-speaking public, whatever their objectives, their projects and the use to which they intend to put this language (professional objectives or with the aim of benefiting from university training, learning for pleasure, etc.). The French language is shared by 300 million speakers spread across five continents, in around forty French-speaking countries. The word "Francophone," far from the idea of a "reference French," refers to the great linguistic and cultural diversity of French-speaking countries and the spoken French associated with them. Teaching French as a foreign language as a "Francophone language" means teaching the plurality of spoken French in order to give a true image of French in the world. As a specialized and experienced teacher in teaching French as a foreign language, I offer individualized teaching. My goal is to help students progress, both orally and in writing.
