Hello! I am Mariavi. I am a 25-year-old Spanish pianist who has been living in the Netherlands for three years. I teach piano which I really enjoy doing. I enjoy teaching so much that I now also teach Spanish! I am a very dedicated and enthusiastic teacher. I do everything I can to help my students improve. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during classes too :D With my own experience as a foreign language student in mind, I find my lessons very dynamic, with different approaches and with a focus on talking. Although, if you need to focus on something else, I can of course adapt to your needs

About my lessons :) - INDEPENDENCE There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece. - HEALTHY HABITS Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method. - ENJOY Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too. - PERSONALIZATION Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.
