Nureddin Macit obtained his bachelor's degree in Dutch-Turkish-English Linguistics with distinction from the Department of Translation, Interpreting and Communication at Ghent University and then graduated with distinction as a master's degree in Multilingual Communication. He also completed a language analyst training at Thomas More and an exchange program at the Department of Translation and Interpreting at Boğaziçi University with distinction. Since 2013 he has been a sworn translator for the Federal Public Service Justice and the Consulate General of Turkey in Antwerp. In his active professional career he provides consultancy for international business communication and teaches Dutch and Turkish at the Language Centre of Ghent University. He also gives private lessons in Dutch and Turkish. Languages he is proficient in are French, Dutch, English and Turkish.
