My teaching style is aimed at creating a relaxed, discursive learning environment. Growing up, I often found that people explain complex ideas, and tough aspects of subjects, with just more complex words! My aim is to make all elements of teaching - from the simplest, to the most advanced ideas - accessible, and understandable. My teaching can be direct and specification-focussed where necessary; but also fun and inspiring - looking to introduce students to the brilliant connections that can be drawn between subjects. I am very happy to adjust my techniques depending on the individual student’s preferences, goals, and characteristics (e.g. age).
