Approaching a large block of text can be daunting for anyone, especially when you know your grade depends on it, and sometimes, you need someone who will attune their approaches to your individual needs so you can reach your full potential. For both English Literature and History from (I)GCSE to A-level, I focus on teaching and developing critical analytical skills that will help students obtain that high grade. Teaching students how to thoroughly read, inspect and dissect any piece of text, whether it be Shakespearean classics or contemporary works about how the World Wars largely shaped society as we know it, is my main goal. Having trouble with citations? No worries, I can assist with that, too. Though writing essays may not be everyone's forte, I adopt the simplest approach possible, aim to keep lessons fun and engaging, and strive to arm students with the tools and general advice they require to impress examiners and produce high-caliber, stylistic pieces of writing (which I am happy to proofread and edit as well)!
