The best way to learn a living language is definitely to SPEAK! Of course, you have to learn grammar, but a good part of the course is based on communication skills. I like literature, so for those who are interested, I suggest reading Italian texts or French-Italian Italian-French translations.

I have a Master's degree in Classical Literature from Italy (Università di Pavia) with a grade of 110/110 cum laude. After my Master's degree, I immediately took the competitive exam in France to obtain a doctoral contract and now I am working on a thesis in Classical Literature. I have been giving private lessons for 10 years now, mainly for academic support, and since last year I have also had the opportunity to give university courses. I have always had a lot of satisfaction from my students: at the high school level they all got good grades (even if, sometimes, they started from "difficult" situations). At the university level it was the same: all my students passed the exam! For 4 years I have been a Latin teacher in secondary school in Brussels: I know the field and the students' concerns very well!
