In Fundamentals of Music Theory, students will start from the very beginning of music theory, and learn the core foundations required to read music. Topics covered in this course include but are not limited to: reading the staff, identifying notes, identifying key signatures, understanding time signatures, music vocabulary, and more. This is a great class for anyone wanting to get into music, singing, performing, or playing an instrument.

If you are looking for a voice teacher specifically in the styles of Musical Theatre and Classical (Opera)*, then you've made it to the right place! Voice lessons offered for students of all ages and skill levels. During vocal lessons, we will begin with vocal warm-ups by singing the scales, then we will choose songs that you want to work on (with recommendations of songs that I feel would fit your voice), and begin building your repertoire! Get ready to be successful in your next audition! During our one-one-one lesson, I will walk you through step-by-step on what to do in your audition, and how to walk in looking like a professional! We will go over important audition etiquette, your audition materials, calming your nerves, and more information that will help you succeed! People auditioning for a local or school choir, musical, play, opera, cabaret, or any performance of any level will benefit from this! If you need help finding and/or choosing your audition materials, I am also available to help with that upon request. Please plan on meeting twice for this option; The first meeting will be discussing details of your audition and your performance style, and finding good materials that suit what you are auditioning for. The second meeting will be the actual audition prep lesson, where we will go over these materials and the other important audition information as discussed above.
