Young graduate with a double bachelor's degree and two master's degrees, ranked top 0.2% worldwide in online rapid games (2100 Elo), founder and former president of the KU Leuven chess club. I use a high-end professional training software, the same one I use for my own workouts. It's paid software, but I cover the entire subscription cost: its use is therefore included in the price of the course, at no extra cost to the student. I work extensively with learning from mistakes: we analyze the shots played together, what could have been better, and why. The goal is to make mistakes together, so that they disappear when the student plays outside of lessons. This approach removes the fear of making mistakes, reduces stress, and numerous studies show that it is very effective for learning – research by Manu Kapur (National Institute of Education, Singapore). For who ? My courses are for students of all ages, beginners or intermediate, in both French and English, who wish to: -to take up chess, or to improve their level to reach that of a good club player -to facilitate progress in a hobby -learning without pressure, at their own pace
