My name is Kim. I am a classically trained teacher (BA in Music) from England with over 15 years of experience in private teaching and as an internationally touring musician. I offer private piano lessons for all ages in English (and with basic German skills) in my studio in Arta or at your home. I travel throughout the island. Beginners to advanced players. I tailor the lessons to your individual needs and help you achieve your personal goals. This includes preparing for exams as well as playing for personal enjoyment or in front of an audience. I always incorporate my students' musical preferences into my lessons, as this motivates them to practice the music that truly inspires them. I teach both classical and some modern styles (jazz, blues, pop, rock, etc.). I teach my students how to approach the piano, read music, improvise, and play by ear. I also teach music theory, explain the meaning of musical terms, and help improve ear training skills.
