Hello! I’m Ellie, a passionate secondary school Biology teacher based in Manchester. With two years of teaching experience in an inner-city school, I specialize in making complex scientific concepts accessible, engaging, and relevant to students of all abilities. As well as my classroom teaching, I also have experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and key worker roles, ensuring that every student has the support they need to succeed. I’m deeply passionate about Biology and science in general, and I love finding new ways to make the subject come alive for students. Whether it's helping them understand how the human body works, explaining ecosystems, or diving into cellular biology, I strive to spark curiosity and a love for learning in all my students. I understand the challenges students face when preparing for exams, and I am committed to providing targeted, exam-focused tutoring that aligns with the current syllabus. I work closely with students to build their confidence in science, helping them to achieve their goals and perform well in assessments. I also understand the importance of exam-specific resources and regularly use materials such as the IGCSE CGP revision guides to ensure that students are fully prepared for what’s expected in their exams.
