I am an educational scientist by training, and in the course of my professional and private life I have discovered that in one-on-one teaching, it is important to listen to what the student would like to learn and what their learning goals are, and to build on that. If you want to jam with me then we'll jam, if you want to learn music theory then we'll learn music theory, if you want to learn specific songs then we'll do that! Furthermore, not everyone learns through the same pattern. Therefore, I strive to tailor my teaching to each individual's needs. The lessons are suitable for beginners and advanced students, not for professional musicians. My styles include jazz, blues, funk, rock, folk, and reggae.
