Singing is an incredible talent that I want to give you the passion for. This class is designed to help you find that passion by learning helpful techniques, exploring your versatility, and tailoring the lesson to your style. You can take this class for fun, or you can take it to help prepare for an audition or performance. It does not matter what you take it for! I'm here to teach anyone who wants to sing. You can learn how to expand your vocal range, get rid of your performance anxiety, sing challenging pieces, and more! It is all based on your needs. I can also teach you musical language and how to read and understand music. I am great with teaching younger children. I'm a patient teacher, but I like to challenge students based on their skill/experience level without overwhelming them. This is a judgment free zone! I want to give you the best experience that I can. I will assign "homework" based on what you are learning. The main thing that I ask is that you practice vocal exercises and the songs in your repertoire. I will make sure to take my own notes throughout the lesson and send them to you to practice what you learned. My typical lesson plan includes: 1. A short check-in with the student (asking how they are) 2. Stretching warm-up 3. Breathing warm-up 4. Vocal warm-up 5. Work on the student's repertoire 6. Short wrap-up
