Spanish is an official language in 20 countries and is also widely spoken in places like the United States. On the other hand, 125 million to 128 million people speak Japanese, with the vast majority being native speakers living in Japan. It is the eighth most spoken language globally and is characterized by a high geographical concentration in one country.
