A graduate in Popular Music and Performance from the London Institute of Contemporary Music, I offer guitar lessons in Madrid. I live in the Ciudad Universitaria neighborhood (Moncloa-Aravaca) and can travel around the area. I offer flexible guitar lessons in which we can focus on learning a repertoire of student taste; improve technique and musical vocabulary; or focus on different fields, such as: • Investigate different musical styles, observing the role that the guitar plays in them and learn from stylistic references in a simple and accessible way. • To acquire the necessary skills so that the student learns to interpret specific guitar lines and make their own arrangements, which they will put into practice in various possible scenarios: in the recording of their original music demo, establishing their guitar parts in songs for their band, etc... • Understand and put into practice the role of this instrument of some of their favorite themes, and contrast them with others, with the aim of realizing the different approaches that can be given to an instrument as rich and diverse as the guitar: sound options, tonal textures and ranges. • Learn to read and interpret sheet music. • Contemplate what options we have at our disposal, once we have acquired a certain level, to apply knowledge creatively in the elaboration of our own artistic product.

My experience as a teacher and my pursuit of self-improvement as a musician have led me to develop an effective method that I have already tested with over a hundred students. Throughout my career I had the satisfaction of studying with great masters of different specialties or styles, each one emphasizing different aspects of flamenco, classical or modern guitar and each one has given me their approach (technique, rhythms, accompaniment, harmony, etc.), which has led me after years of study and compilation to take the best from each one to develop my method. My role in my classes is more that of a personal trainer than a teacher, where I will be very attentive to bringing out the best in my students, finding the right technique to help them develop a good rhythm, working on their rhythm, etc. For me, the role of a teacher, in addition to teaching, is to be part of a team, to maintain morale and constantly improve oneself while always maintaining a love for music. Methodology: I tailor the lessons to the student's level, style, or goals.
