If you search my name you will find my music which stylistically comes out of my years as a professional club DJ in New York City and Geneva more recently. As an instructor I work with students from beginner to advanced on guitar, electric bass, Ableton live, mixing and song production. I work to make lessons fun while teaching you the skills you need to play the music and songs you love. Additionally, I teach techniques that allow you to learn songs independently, while discussing the theory and mechanics of music in the context of the songs we're working on. With a deep knowledge of different musical styles that make people dance, I place particular emphasis on rhythm and using your ear, how you listen when you're playing music—how to recognize your emotional and physical experience when you're playing well. Learn the most common chords and be able to play your first song after just 1 lesson! You will build a solid foundation in guitar playing through carefully selected songs that you get to choose from. After learning the more common chords and basics of guitar playing, you will learn about strumming patterns, finger picking, and tabs through the songs of your choice.
