Music is one of the most rewarding skills you can learn. It provides a creative outlet, builds confidence, and can open doors to incredible opportunities, friendships, and experiences throughout life. My lessons are tailored to your goals, whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time, looking to improve your skills, or wanting to take your playing to the next level. I teach guitar, piano, and bass, covering a wide range of styles including pop, rock, blues, jazz, R&B, funk, folk, country, and Americana. Lessons can focus on learning songs, developing technique, improvisation, songwriting, ear training, music theory, or preparing for performances. Whether you want to understand the theory behind the music or simply learn to play your favourite songs with confidence, we’ll create a learning plan that works for you. My goal is to make lessons enjoyable, encouraging, and inspiring while helping you become the musician you want to be.

Learn from a pro who's played Wembley Stadium, toured Europe, and worked with West End stars! I'm Chris - a London-based multi-instrumentalist with years of real-world experience as a performer, musical director, and bandleader. Since 2015, I’ve taught over 100 students - from 6-year-old beginners to seasoned musicians - helping them grow their skills, boost their confidence, and connect more deeply with the music they love. I’ve played bass for 80s legends Talk Talk, bass and keyboards for renowned tribute band Guns 2 Roses on national and European tours, been a musical supervisor and musical director for national theatre productions, and shared stages with cast members from Les Misérables, Book of Mormon, Dear Evan Hansen, Mamma Mia, and more. I've performed everywhere from intimate acoustic venues to the Royal Festival Hall and even Wembley Stadium. My teaching style is practical, flexible, and student-led. I teach both online and in person from my West London studio, working with people of all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking to jam with friends, write your own music, get ready for a recording session, or just play for your own enjoyment, I’ll help you build the skills you need, and enjoy the process as much as the result. I currently offer lessons in: 🎹 Piano and keyboards 🎸 Acoustic and electric guitar 🎸 Bass guitar 📖 Music theory (from the basics to advanced harmony and analysis) 🎓 Support for GCSE and A-Level music students I believe lessons should feel creative, inspiring, and genuinely useful - not just a box to tick.
