This course covers the basics of the instrument and utilisation of music theory fundamentals. Learners will study the basics of playing guitar at a beginning level through studying music scales, chord symbols, and common guitar practice. A concise history of the electric guitar along with a study of its corresponding musical techniques will also be included in this course. The main objective of this course is to produce an intensified appreciation for music by playing the guitar. Students will learn how to read music notation, chord symbols, and tablature. Students will also gain a better understanding of many different musical genres including pop, punk, blues, jazz, rock, and other popular music styles.

I specialise in tutoring music production, sharing my expertise in using various digital audio workstations, such as Pro Tools and Logic Pro. As well as this I will share my knowledge of recording and production techniques. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports. I also offer electric and acoustic guitar lessons on request.
