Hello! I’m Vivek, a professional guitar instructor specializing in structured, goal-oriented online lessons for acoustic and electric guitar, ukulele, and music theory. Why Learn With Me? Internationally Recognized Curricula: I seamlessly integrate graded syllabuses from world-class examination boards like Rockschool and Trinity College London. These provide an incredible, structured catalog of song options and foundational exercises that guarantee steady, measurable progress. Pedagogically Sound Sequencing: No random YouTube tutorials or guesswork. Every lesson follows a carefully optimized sequence designed to instill great physical habits, build fretboard fluency, and maximize your growth for the practice time you put in. Creativity From Day One: Theory and technique are important, but music is about expression. From the very beginning in our lessons, we will work on crafting simple melodies, understanding chord progressions, and developing your own improvisational voice. Comprehensive Practice Support: Every session is backed by custom digital resources, synced notation/tabs, demo & backing tracks, and structured practice routines so you always know what to focus on between classes. Distance is never a barrier. My lessons run over a stable, high-speed fiber connection with HD video positioned so you always have a clear view of both my fretting and picking hands. Combined with musician-optimized audio settings and real-time screen sharing for tabs, chord charts, and notation, every session feels just as clear and interactive as sitting in the same room. Guitar and Oud Lesson for All Level, Piano Lesson for BeginnerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Guitar and Oud Lesson for All Level, Piano Lesson for BeginnerTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Hello! I am a professional music educator with 16 years of experience dedicated to making music an indispensable part of life rather than just a lesson. Throughout my career, I have mentored over 1,000 students individually, guiding hundreds of them to successfully enter Conservatories and Fine Arts High Schools. 🏆 My philosophy is simple: Music is loved first, then learned. I prioritize building a deep connection between the student and their instrument. Whether you want to master the Piano, Violin, Guitar, or Oud, I offer a holistic approach that combines technical skill, ear training, and rhythm development. I don’t believe in rote memorization. My teaching system is based on logic and understanding the "mathematics" of music. By simplifying complex music theory and "Makam" knowledge into practical and engaging methods, I ensure my students reach a stage-ready level in as little as one year. 🎼 In my online studio, I provide a high-quality learning experience using multi-camera angles and professional sound setups that rival face-to-face lessons. Whether you are a preschooler, a young aspiring artist, or an adult beginner, I create personalized, goal-oriented roadmaps to help you reach your musical dreams. 🌍 Let’s start this journey together and build a solid foundation that lasts a lifetime

Guitar and Music Theory lessons online and in person: "eye-to-eye" level lessons for popular, jazz, and finger style music.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Hello and nice to meet you! My name is Sara ~ My experience with guitar started with classical guitar when I was 6 years old and moving on to playing electric guitar at age 14. Being immersed in playing primarily blues and jazz music. I have taught students who not only do music as a hobby, but also students with serious career plans in music. I am open to various styles of playing guitar (jazz, blues, fingerstyle, funk, free improvisation and other popular genres) to all levels. My approach is heavily focused on individual student's goals and needs: If you are just starting to play the instrument, for instance, we will focus on learning the basic technique through simple and easy songs. If you are intermediate or advanced player already, we will focus on refining your already existing knowledge and find improvements to work on. Or, we can focus on specific themes, for instance improvisation, transcribing, technique and so on. I also enjoy music theory very much and as I too struggled with grasping the concept when I was younger I am now more than happy to be able to present the world of music theory to anyone who is interested. We can begin with the basics that can help you improve on your instrument or we can dive deeper into more advanced fields of jazz theory. Whether you would like to learn music theory for practicality or you have an exam soon and would like to revise/learn more, I am more than happy to help you out on your music theory journey.

Guitar workshops: personalized lessons / private trainingTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar. The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation. For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...). For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...). Depending on your goals, you can learn, if you wish, to play 60 to 80% of current music from the first lessons, which often use the same chords and the same techniques. The objectives take into consideration the following points: -Study of various playing techniques, chords, harmony, music of your choice, rhythm, with reading of tablature, teaching structured around the repertoire you like, technique of developing the musical ear - Discovery of the neck, notes and basic positions of open chords - Left / right hand coordination and rhythm exercises for the right hand - Learning of different pieces of your choice - Left hand control exercises, speed and precision - Learning arpeggios - Work around muscle memory - Learning improvisation, musical play with others - Ear training: use your ears to find chords, melodies, sounds and techniques used -Spend a pleasant moment of exchange, without unnecessary institutional pressure, while obtaining concrete results -Understand and discover the many facets of an exciting and user-friendly instrument - Benefit from personalized advice on your posture and certain pitfalls to avoid when starting alone -Adjust and clarify your self-taught knowledge - Learn tablatures / tabs & in English. Note : - Possibility to use the guitar available on site, during the test phase. - As our teacher is also a singing teacher, it is possible to combine the two disciplines: guitar + vocal instrument, and to work on synchronization, style and accuracy. - Possibility of offering this course (birthday, party, Christmas, event ...) to the person of your choice. THE TEACHER : Trained in Grande Ecole post-preparatory classes & Ivy League university in the United States, our teacher has specialized and has worked for more than 15 years, in Europe and North America, in the field, in renowned international public and private establishments, with careful pedagogy and methodology as the watchwords. PLACES : - Locations: Geneva-Lausanne-Friborg-Neuchâtel-Montreux-Bâle-Sion-Sierre-Morges-Bienne. But currently, only by videoconference in accordance with national recommendations on Covid. These sessions also seem to be perfectly unanimous since they have the advantages of direct (example: quality of the interaction), without its disadvantages (ex: loss of travel time), with additional advantages (ex: of notes on the chat, which can be reread afterwards). In this context, these videoconference sessions for which you have requested me, seem to arouse a certain enthusiasm (and a certain enthusiasm). At your request, I therefore continue to offer them.
