GMAT, TOEFL iBT Intensive Exam Preparation private lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

GMAT, TOEFL iBT Intensive Exam Preparation private lessonsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

University of Chicago graduate with over 10 years experience in standardized exam preparation offers intensive specialized training for the Verbal section of the GMAT and for TOEFL iBT with guaranteed significant score improvement. The GMAT is required for most MBA programs worldwide, of which the top 100 use it for 90% of their admissions. Its Verbal section (Sentence Correction, Critical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension) is quite different in its focus on the logic and construction of phrases and arguments rather than language rules and vocabulary, typical of other exams. I will help you gain real understanding of the question logic, and extensive practice by working only with authentic questions from past exams (hundreds of questions of various difficulty levels) and supplementing with extra targeted exercises from my eclectic collection of the best resources. This serious exam requires intelligent preparation, there are no superficial shortcuts and tricks like those one may easily come across. However daunting the GMAT may seem, you can actually score at least as high as native speakers (I have had students score in the 700’s), thanks to a more analytical and formal approach to English. What is awesome is that GMAT preparation will not only increase your test score, but also give you logical and analytical skills useful in any aspect of your academic or professional life. The purpose of the TOEFL is merely to make sure you have the necessary English skills to study in university, with a focus on communication and understanding. Thanks to my long academic experience in American universities and preparing hundreds of students for the TOEFL exam, I can help you significantly improve your written English production for the two different TOEFL writing tasks, as well as your pronunciation and fluency for the six speaking tasks. The methodological and individual approach will definitely boost your skills and confidence and give you a more efficient and effective preparation than group courses can.

GMAT Private Tutoring | Quant, Verbal & Data InsightsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Knowing how to solve a question and solving it reliably under time pressure are different skills. We work on both. I’m Bruno, a physician, GMAT tutor and founder of DG Prep, with approximately 19 years of experience teaching the exam. I work with MBA and business master’s applicants who want individual preparation, clear priorities and a deeper understanding of how to approach unfamiliar questions. We start with your performance: not a generic syllabus. Your current score, target, deadline and approach to questions guide our work. We distinguish gaps in knowledge from difficulties with reading, reasoning, calculation, timing and decision-making. Understanding why you make an error is the starting point for correcting it. Quantitative Reasoning: Strengthen arithmetic and algebra, translate word problems accurately, compare solution methods and develop efficient, reliable calculations. Verbal Reasoning: Build precise Reading Comprehension and Critical Reasoning skills. Learn to identify conclusions, test assumptions, distinguish evidence from inference and explain why an attractive answer is still wrong. Data Insights: Work on Data Sufficiency, Table Analysis, Graphics Interpretation, Multi-Source Reasoning and Two-Part Analysis, with particular attention to identifying relevant information and managing time. You participate actively in every lesson. You explain your reasoning, test your assumptions and compare approaches. Rather than simply watching me solve questions, you learn how to choose and execute a method yourself. We strengthen the underlying concepts while developing the judgment needed to apply them under exam conditions. Between sessions, you receive targeted practice and clear priorities for independent study. We revisit recurring errors and adjust the plan as your performance develops. This preparation is suitable whether you are building your foundations, returning to the exam after a break or trying to move beyond a score plateau. Lessons are delivered live online from Spain, primarily in English. Explanations in Spanish are also available when helpful. Sessions booked through this listing are taught by me personally. I recommend lessons according to your needs and progress—not a predetermined number of hours. My objective is to help you become a more capable, independent test-taker. To get started, send me a message through Apprentus with your target score, planned exam date and latest practice-test results, if available. Tell me what you currently find most difficult, and we can identify the right starting point. Please use a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection, and have pen and paper available. Before our first lesson, share your target score, planned exam date and latest practice-test score with section breakdown, if available. Include two or three questions that illustrate your main difficulties. New to the GMAT? Share your target programme and preparation timeline instead.

SAT / GRE / GMAT Math Preparation — Score Higher with an Engineer's ApproachTranslate this text using Google Translate.

SAT / GRE / GMAT Math Preparation — Score Higher with an Engineer's ApproachTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Preparing for the SAT, GRE, or GMAT math sections and want to stop losing points on problems you actually know how to solve? This course is built around one goal: getting you the highest possible score on test day, in the shortest time, with the least wasted effort. I'm a State Engineer (IAV Hassan II) with a CPGE background in Mathematics and Physics — the most rigorous math preparation track in the Moroccan system. The math on these standardized tests is well within that level, which means I don't just know how to solve these problems — I know multiple ways to solve them, and I'll teach you the fastest and most reliable one for exam conditions. What's covered — by exam: 1-SAT Math - Heart of Algebra (linear equations, systems, inequalities) - Problem Solving & Data Analysis (ratios, percentages, statistics) - Passport to Advanced Math (quadratics, functions, polynomials) - Additional Topics (geometry, trigonometry, complex numbers) - Calculator vs. no-calculator strategy 2-GRE Quantitative Reasoning - Arithmetic and number properties - Algebra and coordinate geometry - Data interpretation and statistics - Quantitative comparison strategy - Time management under pressure 3-GMAT Quantitative / Focus Edition - Problem Solving and Data Sufficiency - Data Insights section - Elimination strategies for tricky wording - Pacing and guessing strategy My teaching approach: Standardized math tests are not about being good at math — they're about recognizing patterns, avoiding traps, and managing time. I teach you both: the actual math and the test-taking strategy that separates a 650 from a 750 on the GRE, or a 680 from a 780 on the SAT. Every session is personalized. We start with a diagnostic — I identify exactly which question types are costing you the most points — then we build sessions around fixing those specifically. No wasted time on things you already know. Who this is for: Students targeting top universities in the US, UK, or Europe (SAT) Professionals applying to MBA or graduate programs (GMAT / GRE) Anyone who feels "stuck" at a score plateau and needs a structured push Students with strong school math who just need to learn the test format What I offer: Diagnostic session to assess your current level and target score gap Personalized session plan based on your exam date and weak areas Practice problems with detailed step-by-step breakdowns Timed mock drills to build exam-day confidence Available for intensive short-term prep (2–4 weeks) or longer structured programs

“ So far, I've been getting help with my IGCSE 's in Math and Computer Science with Amin. In most of the lessons I've been with him, he's been really helpful and responsible. He has also been very patient. He helps me become more confident in my answers and makes the lessons pretty fun! After my lessons with him, I do understand my topics more and am able to go to my classes in school without feeling lost. If you're ever struggling with Physics or Programming, I'm sure he can help you too :) ”

“ Maggie is a very competent and dependable teacher for Toefl preparation. She knows the structure of the test very well and was able to provide helpful guidance and useful exercises. She was also good at spotting which area my daughter was weaker at, focussed and worked on it with her to achieve better overall results. ”

“ Neepa is an excellent teacher. For someone as dense as me about music this was a great 1 hour. I hope to continue progressing. ”
