🖐🏻 HI, SALUT, MERHABA! 🖐🏻 How are you doing? Comment allez-vous? Nasılsınız? Thanks for having a look at my profile! Here is the pathway we will follow in our lessons! We will start our lessons by learning the most basic skills such as correct pronunciation and simple grammar rules. We will continue to improve our speaking, listening and grammar levels by learning new informations step by step. Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.

Hi, I am Hatice from Istanbul. I HAVE BEEN TEACHİNG ONLINE AND FACE TO FACE FOR 25 YEARS. I am a native speaker of Turkish and was born in Istanbul. I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty. While teaching I also love giving some useful information about the culture, people, cuisine, films and literature in Turkey to help you get connected to Turkish culture. I prepare written and verbal dialogues in the areas the student is interested in. I am from Istanbul but I traveled almost all cities, mountains, rivers, lakes in Turkey. I am a person who likes less traveled roads and back streets. Traveling around the world and reading on the areas of spirituality, philosophy, psychology, and literature are my number one hobbies. I lived and worked in London, Toronto, and S. Korea. Living as an expat and learning several languages have helped me having sympathy with my students. Motivation, feeling relaxed and setting realistic targets, in the beginning, are usually the first thing to go. As for my formal education, I studied Economics, International Relations, Western Philosophy, and American language and literature at the university (MA and BA). And after my 40 years old, I learned classical Arabic and Persian and started to study Islamic spirituality at the doctorate level. I taught English at Prep. school at Istanbul Technical University and Yeditepe University and am retired. Ever since I could remember I have been a teacher. Now I only teach Turkish privately and translate classical novels from English to Turkish. I translated 12 books from English to Turkish. I teach Turkish that is tailored for each student. Each student is unique for me and I know that every student has her/his own way of learning. If you are a beginner I give a short lecture about the history of Turkish and its characteristics and help you find your way in this very logical, consistent and elegant language. You understand that Turkish is different but that does not necessarily mean difficulty. From the first lesson, you start speaking Turkish and find yourself in a dialogue. I can teach at my place and your place (all around Istanbul). I use several books using a grammar-based approach integrated with communicative methods to boost the development of all language skills. But we always focus on TALK, TALK, TALK. As a language learner for many years, I know one can learn, improve and take pleasure in a foreign language only by talking and communicating. It is essential to get direct pleasure from what you have learned. My aim is to motivate and inspire you to speak Turkish ignoring minor mistakes and without thinking grammar. I try to keep in contact with my students almost every day through whatsapp and email. And start some short dialogues.

I am specialized in teaching English to adults and students in international and private schools. For adults, this class offers a general English practice or IELTS test preparation depending on what the student is looking for. The lessons will first start by evaluating their abilities in the four main skills (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading) then we can work together to plan the weekly lessons accordingly. As for the school pupils, the student shall present his/her previous test papers and results to identify his/her weaknesses and strengths. The second step is to follow the school's book(s) and curriculum (unless the parents wish otherwise). The classes consists of test revision, homework assistance and lots of practice. Any communication occurring during the class must be in English. The class usually consists of one student.

I have been working as an ESL English teacher for almost six years now. My classes with my students are based on learning through play and movement. I usually follow a pattern in my lessons; introducing the topic by drilling with my students. Then, we practice by using games and worksheets. It also depends on the age and the development of each student. I always make sure the kids feel the language is relevant to their interest or their daily life as much as possible.

In my Spanish lessons, I prioritize both skill development and grammar mastery. Is this a good approach? For DELE and Cambridge exam preparation sessions, students need a solid command of Spanish. During these lessons, I meticulously guide them to understand the exam structures while refining their skills and sub-skills, ensuring they are well-prepared to achieve optimal results. My Spanish lessons focus on both skills development and grammatical mastery. My goal is to help students use their language skills in real-life situations. For DELE and Cambridge assessment courses, students need a strong command of Spanish because I prepare them to understand exam structures and develop their fundamental skills. This ensures they achieve a successful result.

Me as a Teacher "To learn someone's language is to learn their soul" - that's how the saying goes. And it could not be more right. I have been teaching English, Hindi, Russian, and Urdu for more than 10 years now and I am quite experienced in helping people wreck down that 'language barrier' wall. I use the grammar translation method, as well the CLT to get my students to gain confidence in speaking and, most importantly, comprehend its structure. I teach to THINK like a native. And once you get the flow of the language that the native speakers know, you'll speak like one! My lessons & teaching style The ultimate way to actual fluency does not lie through the lexis solely. In order to be fluent aka be confident when speaking your target language, you better feel it. How does one do it? It's easy - rid your mind of your first language perceptions, think like a native speaker! Psyched to try it out? Come book a lesson!
