These art classes are designed for all levels and age groups, offering a creative journey through drawing, painting, and clay modelling. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you'll explore techniques while developing your own visual language. 🎨 Art Classes: Painting, Drawing & Clay Modelling Available in Italian, English, French, and Spanish These art classes are designed for all levels and age groups, offering a creative journey through drawing, painting, and clay modelling. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced artist, you'll explore techniques while developing your own visual language. These lessons provide a structured yet expressive path through traditional and contemporary art practices, tailored to each student’s pace and interests. ✏️ Drawing Modules Basic Techniques Learn line construction, chiaroscuro, proportion, and composition on a flat surface. Still Life Drawing Apply shadow theory and perspective while working with graphite, charcoal, sanguine, pen, and pastel. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎨 Painting Modules Color Theory & Materials Explore acrylics, tempera, watercolor, and pastel to understand color relationships and material behavior. Light & Texture Study how light interacts with surfaces such as glass, wood, metal, and fabric. Traditional Techniques Discover the history and use of tempera, acrylics, oil, and watercolor. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🎭 Clay Modelling (Masks, Bas‐relief, Beginner‐friendly) This module introduces students to clay modelling through simple, accessible projects suitable for beginners. They learn how to shape clay to create: Masks — expressive or symbolic faces inspired by imagination, culture, or personal identity. Bas‐relief — low‐relief sculptural surfaces where forms emerge gently from a flat background. The focus is on understanding basic sculpting techniques, working with terracotta, and developing manual dexterity while exploring creative expression. “Bas‐relief” (in italiano bassorilievo) refers to a sculptural technique where the shapes are carved or modelled so they slightly protrude from a flat surface — perfect for beginners because it teaches volume, depth, and light without requiring full 3D sculpting. “Masks” are ideal introductory projects because they combine anatomy, symbolism, and creativity, allowing students to explore identity and expression through clay. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🔍 Personal Research & Artistic Development Students are guided to explore one or more techniques in depth, developing their own visual language and artistic voice through practice, observation, and experimentation. 🌍 Languages Available: Italian English French Spanish Feel free to express yourself in the language you’re most comfortable with. 👥 Age Groups From infants to seniors — lessons are adapted to each developmental stage and artistic goal. 📍 Locations At the student’s home (Torino/ Menton area) Online via webcam ⏱️ Duration Options 30, 45, 60, 90, or 120 minutes

Observational Drawing for all levels and ages (b/w & color)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Observational Drawing for all levels and ages (b/w & color)Translate this text using Google Translate.

Drawing courses with a unique approach. You'll be amazed at how quickly you level up! For over 10 years, I have been developing a method that allows my students to learn observational drawing at record speed. Through pictorial and observational exercises, my students become adept at drawing *any and all* observational subjects in: 4 months with 1 day/wk classes at 4 hrs/day 2 weeks at 6 days/wk classes at 6 hrs/day . Please choose one of the two courses: >> OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING (B/W): If you don't know how to draw, pick this one. If you "know how to draw except for" portraits/perspective/etc, this is the best program for you too. (details below) >> COLOR OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING: If you can draw anything from observation, but want to understand how color works, pick this one. If your goal is to make oil paintings and you already know how to draw, this is your program too. (details below) . >> OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING (black/white) << For those who want to learn drawing or those who want to improve their drawing skills quickly *Observational Drawing Topics*: Line quality Drawing the hand Using negative space in drawing and in composition Making strong compositions Measuring sizes and angles Drawing plants and furniture Drawing the human figure Shading methods Drawing perspective Drawing with light Composing with light Drawing the interior Drawing the face, proportions Drawing light and shadow Portraiture Materials used: Graphite, Charcoal, Markers/India ink, paper Since this is a technique class, I recommend that you take at least 4 hours/week to be able to experience your improvement class by class. If you wish to take less hours, please note that with a 2 hours/day course, you will complete the program in 10-12 months, which will be caused by not gaining enough momentum during class time. >> COLOR OBSERVATIONAL DRAWING << For those who want to learn color in representational art. Become skillful at using color in your works. *Color Observational Drawing Topics*: Basic color theory Interrelationship of colors Mixing colors Composition with colors: Creating abstract drawings Drawing the self-portrait Drawing the nature-morte Drawing interior/exterior architecture Drawing plants and gardens Materials used: Color pencils, soft pastels, photography, color paper Please note that this course is designed for students who already Can do observational drawings. If you are unsure of your level, I recommend starting with the "Observational Drawing" program.

Whether you are a beginner or experienced, and whatever your motivations (personal, professional or school ...), I offer you a tailor-made education. We will start by establishing a program together during your 1st lesson, according to your needs and interests. My offer : - Face-to-face AND/OR virtual classes at a fixed time and in real time, according to your needs. Virtual classroom sessions are recorded and available for review only by students. - A qualified and experienced illustrator artist teacher at the service and listening to the student. - A frequently updated shared space (google drive) containing all the necessary documentation and tools available to students who wish to continue their practice outside of class hours. • Special > For students interested in art and design schools: I offer accelerated training, as well as assistance in building the portfolio and preparation for interviews (On request). • Special > For professionals and future professionals in fine crafts & Designer: I offer training in drawing and color techniques as well as tailor-made courses applied to your professional field (On request). Thematic courses of 5 half-days during school holidays. Timetable: I am available on weekdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to give you private lessons, but also on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for lessons in small numbers (maximum 3 students per slot), for those who appreciate sharing and stimulation of the group while maintaining the rapid progress dynamic of a small class. My schedule remains quite flexible, however, so do not hesitate to tell me your preferences to reserve the right slots for you. My methodology is simple: Thanks to a first preliminary telephone or video meeting with the student (and a parent if the student is a minor) I begin to identify the questions, needs and objectives of the student in order to establish a program. This program will be refined as the course progresses according to the centers of interest and qualities revealed by the student. My teaching is progressive. I take the student where he is in his practice and pull him up, to the maximum of his abilities, whatever the medium chosen: pencil, brush, graphics tablet... To maintain his motivation, I punctuate the student's program with inspiring and stimulating subjects related to his interests, such as the drawing of his own comic strip / manga, OR, the printing of his 3D figurine. Course operation: Because we do not all progress in the same way, I propose 2 different modes of operation. During a lesson: - The student works on original subjects and application exercises, edited by myself and adapted to the student and his program. WHERE - The student expresses the need to be helped/guided on a specific creative project of his initiative, or a subject of his school's visual arts lesson, at the start of the lesson. In which case, I bring him as many keys as possible (methodology, references, documentation and techniques) until the end of his project. Of course, the mode of the course can change from one course to another in order to alternate rigor and freedom of experimentation. At the end of the session, I take stock with the student of what has been done, must be continued and addressed soon. He/She can contact me between 2 sessions if necessary. For parents / guardians of minor students, I offer a quarterly report on the progress of their child / tutee. It is also possible for them to come and talk to me at the end of the course or to contact me during the week by email or telephone. Minimum age: 11 years old - No maximum age. Feedback: Minor students and parents Many families with children requiring a different pace from that offered by their schools say that my classes have greatly helped them, first of all to quickly feel more confident. Similarly, precocious children find here the intellectual nourishment that they sometimes lack in the teaching received in class. What I have observed that is obvious about my private lessons and in small groups is that the student develops: - his autonomy, because he takes the time for self-correction. - his commitment, because by advancing at his own pace he really becomes an actor in his learning. - his disinhibition (vis-à-vis the teacher, parents, and classmates for students in small classes), by granting him a neutral space/time for experimentation without competition or judgment. Amateur Adults What has struck me the most over the last few years while following active adults working in sectors not directly linked to creative activities, is the need to discover or accomplish something new and the desire to share. This is why each year is a new adventure full of projects of all kinds, but sometimes also hard work!... depending on your characters and objectives... Professionals and future professionals Crafts & Designer In artistic professions, crafts, or any other design activity, the ability to express and represent quickly and effectively all or part of a 2-dimensional concept is very useful, even essential. The greater the professional designer's mastery of these arts and techniques, the more eloquent his future representations, sketches, scenarios, projections, will be, whether presenting a project to a client, a colleague or set a stage, a model. This is why I adapt my teaching of drawing and color (perspective, representation of plans, volumes, textures, colored harmonies, ...) to the specific needs of the professionals who approach my course, whether they are designers of interior designers, graphic designers, fashion designers, landscape designers, architects, or decorative painters. And so far, everyone has been satisfied!

The most sunny and calm person I ever met. I never did yoga before and she has been really patient and gentle. She gave me advices regarding my diet and I found it very helpful. She doesn't only teaching she gives you a real idea of the "yoga world" who is vaste and complicated to approach ( for me at least ) I already book another class, I am looking forward for it!

Robin was wonderful!! He is a very warm, patient teacher and knows (in English) how to explain art techniques to a beginner. He was very amenable when I had to change dates and ran over the scheduled time when I was late showing up because I went to the wrong Starbucks. I will definitely call him again on my next trip to Paris. 5 stars!!!

Marie is a skilled teacher, able to adjust to the needs of her student. I highly recommend her for her knowledge of the French language, as well as of local culture. She's kind, supportive and adaptable. Two thumbs up!
