Would you like to be able to illustrate the worlds and stories you imagine? Do you want to learn how to create characters for a video game, animation, children's story, comic or in any format? Or would you like to be able to draw your favorite characters? If you have those concerns, I would love to help you. I like to focus the classes in such a way that the current drawing level of the student is not what is important. The room for improvement will always evolve. I like to take my classes towards character design, towards general things like the psychology of color and shapes, since they are assimilable and highly useful concepts, independent of the level of drawing. For this reason, my classes are aimed at all ages and drawing levels. I also try to focus them on the preferences and tastes of each student, showing them that everything they like, they like for a reason, that nothing is left to chance and that they can also understand how to make their drawings reflect what they want to convey. Even to create your portfolios or visual information for your own project or story. I give private classes with students from different parts of the world, so many of my classes I have been able to do in both English and French. I studied 2D animation in France, and thanks to this training, my work has been nourished by dynamism, storytelling, expressiveness, typical of this medium, as well as the sensitivity for color and shapes that I usually use to infuse a unique style both to my original designs as well as my fanarts.

A lot of people think they cannot draw. But before drawing, it is about "seeing". Actually if you can see, you can draw. Not only objects, but portraits, animals, whatever you want. By developing the aptitude of observing the reality using the right part of your brain, you learn how to draw what you really see instead of drawing what you think you already know about this reality. This technique was a revelation as it allowed me to progress quickly when I was young. It's on this base that I will help you to learn another way of looking at things around you and show you some tricks to overcome difficulties as perspective, foreshorten,...

Watercolor is a fascinating technique, but it can be demanding and often feels unpredictable. In these in-studio classes, we will approach watercolor as a relationship between water, pigment, and paper. You will learn to predict and control the medium—and, once you've mastered that, to use it more spontaneously. I teach a solid, step-by-step method to build a watercolor painting from the ground up. We will explore a range of techniques (working on dry paper, on wet paper, glazing (velatura), creating textures, etc.) as well as brushstroke fundamentals. Along the way, I'll share practical suggestions and tips I've gathered from my own teachers and years of practice. The class focuses on the technical aspects of watercolor: controlling the medium and consciously achieving the desired figuration. It is through this deep, hands-on knowledge that a more expressive dimension of the practice can naturally emerge. We will cover key topics such as values, temperature (warm-cold contrast), and color theory. This class is open to both beginners and advanced painters who wish to refine their technique. A basic foundation in drawing is highly recommended for the initial sketch. Each lesson includes all necessary supply materials.

The freedom of creativity is the most attractive way of self expression. However, to achieve the mastery to utilise consciously and productively this freedom, with both joy and confidence, with value and satisfaction, you need to have the 'tools' and attain certain skills to guide, facilitate, and uncover your potential. A grate achievement could not be done without breaking the rules, but to break the rules convincingly and doubtlessly, you first need to learn, acknowledge, and understand their natural laws and traditions. Therefore, I am inviting to my tutorial classes, where online or in person, on beginner or advanced level, you will meet and learn the basic and most important skills of Drawing and Painting systematically through observation and references. You will practice and experiment to fully master a medium or a technique, will support your practice with Art and Colour theory, Perspective, and History of Art, in order to start easily drawing yourself, interpreting a favourite scene or a subject on a paper or canvas, and will create you diverse and appealing collection of artworks with attention, imagination, and excitement.

Contrary to popular belief, realistic drawing will never be outdated, not because of some strange fixation in academic art, but because of its usefulness in a huge variety of tasks that are or are not related to the art field. To me, more than anything, realistic drawing offers an explanation of the world that is somehow shoothing and fulfilling.

ABOUT THE CLASS: Do you have a character in your head, a story you’ve been thinking about, or simply an urge to draw and wonder what might happen if you turned it into a comic? In this class, we’ll explore how to develop your ideas into sequential form. We’ll work on drawing skills, character development, composition, page layouts, pacing, and the relationship between images and text. We’ll also look at inspiring examples from comics, graphic novels, and art history. Depending on your interests, we might create a short comic, develop a character or story, or begin working towards a longer project. You don’t need to have a finished story, or even know exactly what you want to make. We can start small, experiment with ideas, and build towards a larger project. There are no specific requirements regarding materials. We can work with pencil and paper, ink, color, or digital tools. If you would like to work digitally, you will need to bring your own laptop and software; there are many excellent open-source and inexpensive options available. ABOUT ME: I am a lifelong comics lover, as well as an artist, architect, and published comic book author. My background in architecture helps me create convincing worlds, environments, and backgrounds, while my professional experience in animation has given me a good understanding of timing and pace. I look forward to exploring this amazing medium further with you! ***The class is suitable for total beginners as well as intermediate and advanced students.
