One-on-one tutorial with an award winning contemporary artist to help you to push your work forward thematically and technically, whist helping to realise how your work sits contextually in the world in this time and place. During your one-on-one tutorial I will help assist you with your personal practice by : - Encouraging experimentation, investigation and creative research, resulting in a substantial and successfully resolved body of work - Helping to develop of an enhanced level of applied skills, enabling the clear communication of ideas and research through a discipline or disciplines of choice. - Facilitating a deeper understanding of the wider contexts for practice and research; evidence of an awareness of contemporary practice, exhibitions, seminars and events and a broader cultural framework provided in the supporting work . The aims: - To introduce students to a range of ideas about place (e.g. historical, social, psychological) and to selectively use these to develop their individual practice and its conceptual underpinnings. - To support students in developing their practice across a range of media, materials and approaches. - To develop students’ ability to articulate orally and in writing their creative responses to, personal insights into, and critical understanding of, the significance of place and environment to their practice and in the wider field of contemporary art and design. ----------------- - Helping you to articulate an understanding of the critical and conceptual contexts of your art practice. - Encouraging experimentation with forms and approaches to art making and critically reflecting on conceptual and material decisions in the production of contemporary artworks. - Produce artwork that is responsive and demonstrates evidence of experimentation in dialogue with others and in consideration of the ethical dimensions of collaborative practices. - Assist you in critiquing and evaluating the intellectual and technical rationales and processes involved in the production of contemporary artwork for public exhibition

My name is Nayara, and I offer art classes tailored to each student's level, age, and goals. My strengths lie in pencil, acrylic, and oil painting, though I can also help with basic drawing techniques, color theory, composition, and various art projects. I am currently studying Visual Arts in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, so I can help both students who want to learn as a hobby and students who need to improve their results in the art subject. In my classes we can work on: - Acrylic and oil paint - Basic drawing techniques - Color theory and mixing - Composition and proportion - Development of ideas and creativity - Help with homework and school projects - Support to improve grades - Crafts and creative projects I like to tailor my classes to each individual and make them dynamic, practical, and engaging. Instead of just teaching theory, I prepare each class in advance, gathering all the necessary materials and resources. My goal is for every student to develop their creativity, improve their technique, and, above all, enjoy the artistic process. The classes are specially designed for children, teenagers and beginners, although I can also adapt to students with more experience.
