As an experienced DJ, specializing in electro and various other musical genres, I have had the privilege of mixing at iconic venues around the world, including Geneva, Lucerne, as well as Canada and Mexico. With this international experience, I offer DJ lessons suitable for beginners and intermediates. My classes take place in my studios equipped with professional DJ decks, but I am also available to come to your home. Whether you want to master the fundamentals of mixing or perfect your advanced skills, my lessons are designed to meet your expectations. With more than 10 years of experience in the captivating world of DJing, both on stage in French-speaking Switzerland and internationally (Belgium, England), I am delighted to share my passion and my musical knowledge. My musical journey is rich in many significant experiences, including: 5 years as official DJ at Fight Night at the Citadel of Saint-Tropez, a major sporting event broadcast live on Canal+ Performances on the international stage in Switzerland, Belgium and England. I started my career mixing vinyl with the legendary Technics 1200. Later, I adopted (and still use today) Traktor to explore new horizons with timecoded vinyl. Currently, during my performances on the Geneva scene, I generally work with classic club equipment, using USB sticks on Pioneer equipment. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to benefit from the valuable advice of distinguished DJs such as Macumba resident Denis P, or key figures in New Beat such as Eric Powa B. My teaching goes far beyond simple technique on your preferred medium. I can also introduce you to essential concepts such as frequency management, the difference between good and bad sound, and techniques for avoiding saturation in your mixes, particularly by adjusting the gains. 🎧 PROFESSIONAL STUDIO A space dedicated to music production and mixing, fully equipped for professional quality sessions 🔊 ADDITIONAL PERSONAL EQUIPMENT In addition to my professional studio, I also have a personal space equipped with an RCF sound system and an 18" subwoofer. Multi-instrumentalist and composer in various musical styles, I will accompany you in your learning of DJing and music creation. I will guide you in getting to grips with Rekordbox software, analyzing tracks and their structure, discovering DJ equipment, mastering transitions and mixing techniques, while helping you develop your own artistic universe. Do you also want to learn about composition? For this, you will simply need a laptop and the Ableton software.

I am DJ Mestre (Chrysostomos), a professional percussionist, producer, and turntablist. With experience performing at festivals and venues across Europe, as well as teaching music at conservatories, I bring both stage experience and teaching expertise to my classes. Whether you're stepping behind the decks for the very first time or looking to refine your existing skills, my lessons are tailored entirely to your goals. I teach complete beginners, intermediate DJs and more experienced performers through structured one-to-one tuition. Lessons can cover everything from advanced transitions and delivering great sets through to the theory (music and otherwise) behind DJing, and how to build & maintain a great music library. Rather than simply showing you which buttons to press, I focus on helping you understand why techniques work, giving you the confidence to DJ independently long after the lessons have finished. Lessons are available both online and in person (Bournemouth, UK). Every lesson is personalised - whether your goal is mixing for fun at home, playing your first party, preparing for club gigs, or developing your own unique style. After every lesson you'll receive personalised summaries, feedback, practice exercises and optional homework to help you keep improving between sessions. My aim isn't just to help you complete a lesson - it's to give you the knowledge and confidence to become a genuinely amazing DJ.
