Multi-instrumentalist and composer in various musical styles, I will accompany you in your learning of DJing and music creation. I will guide you in getting to grips with Rekordbox software, analyzing tracks and their structure, discovering DJ equipment, mastering transitions and mixing techniques, while helping you develop your own artistic universe. Do you also want to learn about composition? For this, you will simply need a laptop and the Ableton software.

I am DJ Mestre (Chrysostomos), a professional percussionist, producer, and turntablist. With experience performing at festivals and venues across Europe, as well as teaching music at conservatories, I bring both stage experience and teaching expertise to my classes. In our sessions, you’ll learn: DJ fundamentals: - beatmatching, transitions, mixing techniques - Turntablism: scratching, beat juggling, performance tricks - Hip-Hop & Electronic DJing: working with different genres and styles - Set preparation & live performance skills - Music production basics & integrating DJ software/hardware - How to develop your unique style as a DJ Whether you’re a beginner curious about DJing, an aspiring turntablist, or a musician wanting to expand your skills, I’ll adapt the lessons to your goals.

Whether you're stepping behind the decks for the very first time or looking to refine your existing skills, my lessons are tailored entirely to your goals. I teach complete beginners, intermediate DJs and more experienced performers through structured one-to-one tuition. Lessons can cover everything from advanced transitions and delivering great sets through to the theory (music and otherwise) behind DJing, and how to build & maintain a great music library. Rather than simply showing you which buttons to press, I focus on helping you understand why techniques work, giving you the confidence to DJ independently long after the lessons have finished. Lessons are available both online and in person (Bournemouth, UK). Every lesson is personalised - whether your goal is mixing for fun at home, playing your first party, preparing for club gigs, or developing your own unique style. After every lesson you'll receive personalised summaries, feedback, practice exercises and optional homework to help you keep improving between sessions. My aim isn't just to help you complete a lesson - it's to give you the knowledge and confidence to become a genuinely amazing DJ.
