Who am I ? I am a biochemist and a cellular and molecular biologist. I then obtained a doctorate in Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as a second Master in General Management (in evening classes that one). Since my PhD, I work in a pharmaceutical company and supervise production teams for a vaccine. I love science and will do my best to try to explain at best, by popularizing and giving concrete examples. I am relaxed, I like to laugh and I will do my best to explain things in the most friendly way possible. My classes are for all ages, from high school to university level. I can also proofread and correct any work in these subjects. Methodology : I first learn about the particular subject to be addressed and what are the concerns in order to be able to answer the questions as best as possible and to be able to explain things in the best possible way. Personalized approach, discussion to understand the blocking points, try to re-explain things differently to ensure understanding. During the tutoring sessions, we actively work together on assignments, and I help you learn to solve problems independently. In addition, it is important that you practice independently between lessons. I offer support with: - Clearing backlogs - Specific chapters or topics that are difficult - Preparation for school exams and central exams (vmbo, havo and vwo) - VAVO, state examination, and CCVX tracks I offer tutoring at my home in Groningen West, but tutoring at your home is also possible. I have worked for 6 years now with kids from international schools helping them in subjects such as maths and biology. We always find the best suiting way to approach the subject together; I have indeed a few teaching methods that can be adapted to a kids' needs, I believe every kid needs a different method to fully understand the subject. I provide 2 types of lessons that represent 2 phases: 1. THEORY - Understanding the theory repeating together each unit. 2. PAST PAPERS - Going through past papers to "simulate" a potential exam. Dividing the process in 2 phases has proven really effective in succeeding not only during the year but also at the final exams.
