Secondary Accounting & BA1 — journal entries, balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, depreciationTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I offer accounting courses for secondary school students, particularly in vocational training, as well as for first-year bachelor's students at university or college. The objective is to help the pupil or student understand accounting logic, master important entries and know how to solve exercises in a structured way, whether for a quiz, an exam, a qualification or a refresher course. I primarily support pupils and students who wish to review the basics, better understand accounting mechanisms and practice on typical exercises. Subjects covered according to your program: • Basics of accounting: debit/credit, asset and liability accounts, expenses and revenues, chart of accounts, account logic, supporting documents and reading statements. • Journal and accounting entries: recording of current operations, purchases, sales, payments, receipts, VAT, customer and supplier accounts, entries with or without discount. • VAT and commercial transactions: VAT to be recovered, VAT to be paid, purchase invoices, sales invoices, credit notes, trade discounts, rebates, incidental expenses and calculations related to commercial transactions. • Depreciation: straight-line depreciation, declining balance depreciation, depreciation schedules, depreciation charges, net book value and year-end entries. • Provisions and adjustments: provisions, deferred charges, accrued income, charges to be allocated, deferred income, inventory entries and year-end adjustments. • Balance sheet and income statement: construction of the balance sheet, assets/liabilities, equity, debts, expenses, revenues, profit or loss for the year, link between the income statement and the balance sheet. • Basic financial analysis: working capital, working capital requirement (WCR), net cash, simple ratios, reading and interpretation of financial statements. • Cash flow: operating cash flow, investment cash flow, financing cash flow, distinction between accounting profit and cash flow. • Exam/qualification preparation: Typical exercises, past quizzes, exams, case studies, problem-solving methods, guided correction and identification of common errors. I can also help with economics depending on the level and program, particularly in microeconomics and macroeconomics: supply and demand, elasticities, costs, competition, market, growth, inflation, economic policy and basic models. Method of working : 1. We identify the chapters that pose a problem; 2. I will re-explain the accounting logic with simple examples; 3. We redo the exercises step by step; 4. I show how to recognize the type of writing or calculation required; 5. We construct a clear method so that the student can do it on their own. I do not limit myself to giving a correction: I explain the reasoning behind each writing and each calculation so that the subject becomes more logical and less mechanical. I have been giving private lessons for over 7 years in mathematics, statistics, economics, and accounting. I also have a degree from Solvay/ULB and professional experience in finance and business controlling at Deloitte, which allows me to explain accounting with an approach that is academic, university-level, and practical. Courses available in French or English, online or in person in Brussels or the surrounding area.

As a recent civil engineering graduate with a master's degree in management, I offer private tutoring in Finance and/or Accounting.Translate this text using Google Translate.

My accounting and finance courses are aimed at students in colleges and universities (bachelor's level). Before starting private lessons, I usually ask for a description of the student's current course so that I can best prepare the sessions. My background in civil engineering has instilled in me a problem-based learning approach. My teaching method is therefore primarily practical, as the most important thing for analytical subjects is being able to solve any type of problem. And to do that, you need to do as many as possible. During my studies, I realized that the best way to understand a subject is by doing exercises on it. However, a certain foundation is necessary. That's why I usually start with a brief review of the subject and provide a formula sheet with the important formulas and concepts when needed. Then, I work through one or more typical exercises with the student, explaining the steps involved. Finally, the student will do exercises on their own, using the formula sheet (using formulas is the best way to remember them). I will then be there to assess their understanding, answer their questions, and help them when necessary.

Expert Tutor in Business, Accounting, Finance & Economics — IB, A-Level, IGCSE & International School SupportTranslate this text using Google Translate.

► EXPERT BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING, FINANCE & ECONOMICS TUTOR FROM SWITZERLAND ► IB, A-LEVEL, IGCSE & INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL SUPPORT I completed my Master’s degree in Business Information Systems at a Swiss University of Applied Sciences, where my academic background strongly combined business, finance, economics, mathematics, analytical thinking and problem-solving. This technical and business-oriented foundation shaped the way I teach today: clearly, logically and with a strong focus on real understanding. For many years, I have successfully supported students in Business Studies, Accounting, Finance and Economics. As a tutor from Switzerland, I bring a structured, patient and highly individual teaching style to students who want to improve their grades, prepare for important exams and build real confidence in business-related subjects. My lessons are designed for students who want more than just memorizing definitions and formulas. I focus on understanding business concepts, applying financial logic, interpreting economic relationships and solving accounting problems step by step. ► EXAM PREPARATION & ACADEMIC SUPPORT ► IGCSE BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING & ECONOMICS I help students build a strong foundation in business concepts, financial calculations and economic thinking. My lessons include clear theory explanations, topic-by-topic revision and exam-style practice to prepare students confidently for their assessments. ► A-LEVEL BUSINESS, ACCOUNTING, ECONOMICS & FINANCE A-Level subjects require strong analytical thinking, clear written arguments and confident application of theory to real business situations. I support students with structured revision, essay technique, calculation practice, case-study analysis and preparation for demanding exams. ► INTERNATIONAL BACCALAUREATE — IB BUSINESS MANAGEMENT & ECONOMICS I provide structured support for IB students, focusing on deep understanding, strong terminology, analytical writing and exam technique. Since every school can have different expectations, I adapt my teaching to the student’s syllabus, textbook, teacher requirements and exam format. ► UNIVERSITY & FOUNDATION COURSES For older students, I offer support in Accounting, Corporate Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Statistics and quantitative business modules. I help students understand difficult theory, solve assignments, prepare for exams and develop strong analytical skills. ► HOW I TEACH ► I FOCUS ON REAL UNDERSTANDING, NOT MEMORISATION. I explain business, accounting and economic concepts step by step so students understand the logic behind the theory and can apply it confidently in exams. ► I CONNECT THEORY WITH REAL BUSINESS EXAMPLES. Business and economics become easier when students can see how concepts work in real life. I use practical examples to make topics clear, relevant and memorable. ► I SIMPLIFY COMPLEX CALCULATIONS. In Accounting and Finance, I break calculations into clear steps so students understand what is given, which formula is needed and how to reach the final answer correctly. ► I TRAIN EXAM TECHNIQUE CAREFULLY. My 11 old daughter Sasha really likes to study math with Kevin, because he knows a lot of new things, that she didn't know and it's always interesting to work with him. Kevin and Sasha speak in German which is very important for us, as Sasha is preparing for the Swiss gymnasium. Our main goal to be ready for gymnasium math exam and we think that Kevin fits well for it.

Pierre has been very patient and will try different ways of explaining a topic/concept to make it easier for his student to understand it. Personally, he has been of great help to me. Thank you!

We are happy with Mr Robert , now we have him frequently for our kids
