Garba is one of the most popular folk dance forms of India, originating from my home state of Gujarat. It is performed during auspicious festivals, most notably Navratri as well as at wedding celebrations, where entire communities come together to dance in joyful, energetic circles. I am a native of Gujarat, India, and have been practicing Garba since a very young age, as part of my culture and upbringing. Now based in Tallinn, I'm excited to share this vibrant folk tradition with the community here. Garba is danced in circles, with rhythmic clapping and swaying movements that revolve around a central point, traditionally accompanied by live drumming and folk songs. It's a joyous, social dance form: easy to pick up, high in energy, and a wonderful way to experience Indian culture, music, and community spirit. Classes cover: Basic Garba steps and circular formation patterns Clapping patterns and coordination with rhythm Timing and movement flow set to folk music Full choreographies on a song for groups Lessons are available for individuals and groups, for both adults and children, in Tallinn. I specialize in training belly dance, I have certified by USA teacher Sadie Marquardt in her Raqs Class and also getting trained from France teacher Anasma in contemporary and belly dance fusion. I am practising belly dance from last 4 years and can train beginner module. I will love to take this form to dancers or non-dancers, important is a will to dance, A dancer will not just learn techniques but also will understand this elegant form and get confidence in their dance style. I will be teaching hip isolations, chest isolations, drills, belly dance choreography and important terms used in belly dance world.

I am going to teach a variety of styles. Starting from Bharatanatyam to other Indian folk dances, to styling and learning my own contemporary styles, I curate and design every class based on my students' abilities.
