I am an architectural assistant and hold a Masters degree in Architecture. Having a strong passion towards art and human behaviour has led me to shaping haptic spaces to enable a journey full of encounters. I believe our subconsciousness can be expressed through bodily movements that can initiate with the mere moment of grabbing a pencil or a brush. As a result, my class explores the poetry behind art and its essence. My teaching method revolves around finding an individual's inner characteristics and conveying this into an expressive art form. My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. During my class, different mediums will be tested to ignite creativity. As a result of my profession, my classes can involve digital design involving Photoshop and Illustrator. It is important to be able to understand both 2D and 3D forms and so, my teaching method can include both aspects.

I am a professional dancer and teacher. My work ethics are very aligned with buddhism and want to help people to feel good in their own bodies, releasing trauma, blockages and tensions. This is an opportunity to also have a good time and be in touch with your emotions through movement. I use the body to understand ourselves and our deepest thought process by truly connecting with the present moment. I use meditation and other techniques to help us drop the voices in our heads and create a free channel of connection with higher self. My intention is to help the body be the vessel it is and gain trust and confidence in who we are.

This class will prepare students for practical and written examinations related to the field of Drama and Theatre Arts (this may include but is not limited to; GCSE Drama, A-Level Drama, GCSE English language or Literature, BTEC courses, Degree level courses related to theatre and performance). After an initial session to discuss the curriculum content and the outcomes the student hopes to achieve for their particular exam or performance, each session will be tailored to the individual students needs. In the past five years I have obtained my Degree and Master's Degree in the field of contemporary theatre practices as well as working with a small company to produce and tour innovative new performances. I have an extensive skills-base spanning contemporary devised theatre, classical texts, producing, academic writing and much more. I aim to make these classes fun and informative; allowing students to reach their potential academically whilst aiding them in becoming forward-thinking creative individuals. Fine Art can be a confusing, and often inaccessible subject. However, creating and engaging with art can also be empowering once you have the understanding of contemporary art practises. It is my intention to engage both children and adults in creative play, and discussion, to create exciting lessons. Lessons will often be tailored towards the individual's interests, linking them to relevant artists and artistic practises. A wide range of materials and processes will be explored in the lessons, including painting, drawing, sculpture and digital art, allowing students to find their strengths. As a Fine Art and History of Art graduate it truly is my passion to ignite, distill, and grow a person's interests in Art, Design and Art History. I have experience in creating and teaching lessons for students of all ages, from 4 years of age up to adults. I also have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in the trickier aspects of a Fine Art qualification, where jumping through the hoops and tick the boxes that the exam boards require can often take the joy out of creating. My aim is to help students get the grade that truly reflects their engagement and enthusiasm for art, guiding them through the certain requirements that can often feel confusing or frustrating. Whatever level of understanding and ability the student may have, these lessons will be challenging, creative and rewarding.
