Fine Art can be a confusing, and often inaccessible subject. However, creating and engaging with art can also be empowering once you have the understanding of contemporary art practises. It is my intention to engage both children and adults in creative play, and discussion, to create exciting lessons. Lessons will often be tailored towards the individual's interests, linking them to relevant artists and artistic practises. A wide range of materials and processes will be explored in the lessons, including painting, drawing, sculpture and digital art, allowing students to find their strengths. As a Fine Art and History of Art graduate it truly is my passion to ignite, distill, and grow a person's interests in Art, Design and Art History. I have experience in creating and teaching lessons for students of all ages, from 4 years of age up to adults. I also have experience tutoring GCSE and A-level students in the trickier aspects of a Fine Art qualification, where jumping through the hoops and tick the boxes that the exam boards require can often take the joy out of creating. My aim is to help students get the grade that truly reflects their engagement and enthusiasm for art, guiding them through the certain requirements that can often feel confusing or frustrating. Whatever level of understanding and ability the student may have, these lessons will be challenging, creative and rewarding.

The class would present History of Art from the beginning until the modern days. It would be thought throught examining most important artists, their works and ideas, connected with the cultural context of that period. Classes would also include seeing some important films, documentaries, video works, and maybe even use of modern technology. There could be homework in areas that of students interestes, writing about art or making video work, photography, sketch, drawing, etc... So class could also have a creative part. Which is optional. Beside that there could be classes in Street Art, covering some works, history of street art, it's ideas, most important artists, their view of the world, some documentaries, etc.

To pass the competitions of the schools of art it is strongly recommended to have made a preparation. (I did that of the School of Fine Arts of Saint-Brieuc) Having successfully completed my competitions (accepted in 3 schools out of 4), I propose throughout the summer courses adapted to the establishment of a well-stocked artistic record, as well as advices to pass in front of the juries. History remains a key subject whose imprint is visible on all corners of the Globe. His notions, sometimes complicated, allow to approach this subject with a maximum of knowledge. Whether dates, times, stories of wars or creation of a dynasty, my goal is to allow the student to be well in time and to understand, from a modern point of view, what surrounds him . I have high school to study History, subject that I followed in L2, but also the History of Art.
