Physics and Maths Tutor for all ages (GCSE, A-Level, Primary, Secondary School) including exam practiceTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Just done your mock exams? Are you ready to pull your grades all the way up? Or maybe looking to secure your 'safe' grade? Look no further. As a full time Data Lead and Exams Officer at Conisborough College, I have a unique view of performance metrics, and the latest knowledge on GCSE exams. With a specialism in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics, my style of teaching is an expression of my experiences as a student and a tutor. My past tutoring experiences range from teaching secondary school classrooms and a lot of work with 1-on-1's. While I have had State Schooling my successful early experiences with exams (SATS, GCSEs) set me up with a solid foundation and ideal to approach exams by myself and eventually find my area of expertise in everything Maths and Physics. When it comes to exam preparation, my strategy is always textbook oriented. My principle in education has always been to know what I don't know and then deal with my not-knowing of that chapter/area. I like to use what is known/understood as a warm up and get creative with it, probing the student's baselines and tactics. The warm up also gives you the winning-feeling about the subject and this is a feeling that grows and brings clarity such that it guides me year in, year out to go and understand every chapter to answer every topical exam question, and it can for you too. I offer in person, and online teaching and am willing to provide references on demand, but first let's have a video call to discuss your needs further! Do you speak French? Have you just passed your practice exams? Are you ready to boost your grades? Or perhaps you're just looking to secure your "safe" grade? Look no further. As Data Lead and Exams Manager at Conisborough College, I have unique insight into performance metrics and the latest developments in GCSE exams. Specializing in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics, my teaching approach reflects my experiences as a student and tutor. I have extensive teaching experience, both in classrooms in secondary schools and in individual tutoring sessions. Although I received a state education, my successful experiences with exams (SATS, GCSEs) gave me a solid foundation and an ideal method for approaching exams independently. This is how I was able to specialize in Mathematics and Physics. When it comes to exam preparation, my strategy always relies on textbooks. My learning principle is simple: identify what I don't know, then address those gaps. I like to start with what is already known and understood, using it as a warm-up. This allows me to assess the student's level and strategies, while making learning more dynamic and creative. This warm-up also gives you a sense of achievement, which strengthens over time and provides essential clarity. It's this approach that has allowed me, year after year, to assimilate each chapter and be able to answer each exam question. It can do the same for you. I offer in-person and online classes and can provide references upon request. But first, let's discuss your needs over a video call!

IB MYP, IGCSE, GCSE Math, Algebra and Science courses/support for all levelsTranslate this text using Google Translate.

I am Mavi, a physics engineer working at an aerospace company. I have been teaching private lessons at the primary, secondary, high school, and university preparatory levels for 9 years. I teach mathematics, physics, chemistry, and science. I have a good command of the curricula of IB, IGCSE, American, Hong Kong, and international schools. Additionally, I hold the position of president at the Astronomy Society, where I foster my students' interest in astronomy and science beyond the lessons. I prepare the learning environment by incorporating experiments and exploration, moving away from rote education. I often bring experimental materials to class, aiming to make learning memorable through hands-on experiments. As an educational mentor, I approach my students as if they were my siblings, valuing creativity. I have a deep passion for mathematics, physics, and science. I am dedicated to helping students understand and learn because life encompasses both SCIENCE and ART. The more people I can inspire to know, understand, and love mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the more proud I am. Are you curious about how nature works? Let's explore together!

📐 Customised math tutoring: explained calmly, without stressTranslate this text using Google Translate.

Are you drowning in countless formulas? Is your head starting to explode with equations and graphs? Don't panic! Math doesn't have to be a stumbling block. With the right explanation and a calm approach, it often becomes much clearer. Together, we'll tackle it step by step, at your pace. For whom? - Students from primary and secondary education - Children and young people preparing for exams or tests - Anyone who wants to give mathematics a second chance, including adults What can you expect? - I explain the often complicated mathematical language in clear, human language - Focus on insight, not just learning tricks and formulas by heart - Exercises that we tackle together - Space for questions, repetition and building self-confidence I can also prepare exercises and even complete practice exams myself. About me I'm currently pursuing my Master's degree in Data Science/Analytics at the University of Antwerp. In high school, I had seven hours of math a week and always passed my exams with high marks. I've been happily tutoring students of various levels for several years now. I'm analytical, but also calm, patient, and good at sensing exactly where things are going wrong. Practical: - 1-on-1 lessons, online, at my place or at yours (if you don't live too far away) - We will go through your material together or I will provide my own material - Your own pace and approach, completely tailored to you I have already successfully guided students with: - Mathematics in secondary education: from the 1st to the 6th year, for various fields of study and schools, including Latin at Sint-Michielscollege Brasschaat, Economics-Mathematics at KA Schoten, and Humanities at Annuntia. - Arithmetic in primary education: pupils in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades, including mental arithmetic, written calculation, and other arithmetic skills. - Mathematics in the Electromechanics program at AP University of Applied Sciences. Feel free to send me a message with your questions or concerns, and we'll discuss how I can best support you.

Baia was instrumental in helping my daughter prepare for the OMPT-F exam. From the very first lesson, she was organized, knowledgeable, and focused on the areas that mattered most for success on the test. What sets Baia apart is her ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple, structured way while building confidence at the same time. Her engineering background gives her a deep understanding of mathematics and allows her to explain not only how to solve problems, but also why the concepts work. She provided targeted practice materials, mock exams, and clear guidance on the key topics that carried the highest impact. Baia was always responsive to questions between lessons and consistently went above and beyond to ensure my daughter was fully prepared. Thanks to her support, my daughter developed a much stronger understanding of mathematics and a more positive attitude toward the subject. She now approaches challenging problems with far more confidence than before. I highly recommend Baia to anyone preparing for the OMPT exams, university mathematics, or looking for a patient, knowledgeable, and highly effective math tutor.
