I offer personalized tutoring for math subjects ranging from pre-algebra, algebra I, algebra II, geometry, trigonometry, and college algebra. II have a teaching license for middle school mathematics and experience tutoring high school and college math students. In an initial lesson, I will get to know the student and ask questions to understand what their needs are and I how I can best assist. We will make a plan for completing their course and agree on what their learning goals should be. Typically my lessons will be a mix of me teaching concepts on a digital whiteboard, guiding the student through the steps to solve a problem, and supporting them as they work through problems.

I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer crash courses for students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school curriculum. I offer one-to-one Maths tuition for GCSE, A-Level, and university students, both online and in person around Birmingham. Whether your child is struggling with the basics, preparing for upcoming exams, or aiming for top grades, I tailor every lesson to where they actually are — not where a textbook assumes they should be. What I cover: GCSE Maths (all exam boards — AQA, Edexcel, OCR) A-Level Maths and Further Maths University-level Maths for engineering and science students Specific topics: algebra, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, mechanics, logic How I teach: I break difficult concepts down into simple steps, use plenty of worked examples, and give students clear practice between sessions. I'm patient with mistakes, encouraging when things feel hard, and honest about what needs work. Lessons are structured but relaxed students should feel comfortable asking "silly" questions, because those are usually the most important ones. Exam season is right now, so if your child has GCSEs or A-Levels coming up, the next few weeks are the most important time to get focused support. I am a mathematics teacher with 15 years of teaching experience and hold a Master's degree in mathematics. One may lack basic knowledge. The other person may understand the lesson but not know how to solve the exercises. I guide the student so that they gradually learn to: Understand → Analyze → Choose a method → Solve → Verify This approach allows the student to better manage exercises when working alone. I adapt the exercises and the pace of work to the actual level of each student. 💻 INTERACTIVE ONLINE COURSES The classes are held remotely using Google Meet and an interactive whiteboard. The student actively participates throughout the session: he searches, answers questions, completes exercises and explains his reasoning. I can also send screenshots of the work done during the session so that the student can review the important concepts after the lesson. 🏆 15 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE With 15 years of experience in teaching mathematics, I have supported students with very different levels, objectives and difficulties. For my final year students who were tutored in mathematics, I achieved a 100% success rate in the Baccalaureate, with 75% obtaining a distinction of "Bien" or "Très Bien".
