For me, making music is about building the skills and mindset to bring creative ideas to life and I’m passionate about helping others do the same. As Malvae, I have written, sung, produced, mixed, and performed my own music, reaching #17 in the Spotify Viral 50 charts in the USA, gathering millions of streams, and featuring in films like the upcoming documentary King of the Streets and a Netflix series. One of the highlights of my artistic journey was the Amazonas Project, where I traveled deep into the Amazon rainforest to record and transform natural sounds into a full-length concept album, blending storytelling, sound design, and music into a single experience. I had the honour of headlining my own show at Melkweg Amsterdam, one of the Netherlands' most iconic venues, and curated my own events while performing immersive, self-built live sets with visuals. I’ve also taught technical music skills at professional facilities such as Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum. Music has taken me to places I never imagined, from the Amazon rainforest to some of the most iconic stages and I'm excited to help you build your own creative path. In my lessons, I offer structured, personalised education in music production, composition, sound design, mixing, mastering, and live performance. My own musical path often started by recording sounds from my travels around the world and blending them with synthesizers and my voice. I can teach you to produce tracks in an intuitive way without the use of music theory but can also incorporate the basics of music theory in the lessons. I’m specialised in sound design, playing live sets on stage and developing the identity of artists. It helps me to get intermediates to the next level. When you want to start with music production you need to work in a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). I work mainly with Ableton because it's very intuitive and "jammable". It's a great DAW to work in, especially for beginners. Preferably my lessons will be focused on Ableton but I can also work in other DAW's because the fundamentals are mostly the same in all of them. The following aspects will be covered in Ableton Live: 1. The Basics (overview of the layout) 2. Arrangement, session and clip view 3. Working with sequencers and MIDI 4. Recording and routing 5. Pablo is a great teacher! I began taking drum lessons again after a 8 year break from playing and Pablo has really helped me to get back my passion for drums while cleaning out some old bad habits. He has structured lessons which he tailors to my individual flaws and desires which is really appreciated. He's a down to earth guy, really easy to communicate (Fantastic English) with and organise lessons, even with last minute changes driven by my calendar. I really like his overall approach to drums, the tips and tricks I'm picking up from him are things you won't necessarily pick up by practising alone or reading a book/youtube etc. He focuses on reading music, different playing techniques and playing things which give you enjoyment. For someone who already plays drums and is looking to improve and have fun a long the way, I really couldn't recommend Pablo more!

I had been searching for electronic music production lessons for my son, who loves creating music on FL Studio, for some time. When I saw Jim's ad, I was impressed by his credentials and experience in the field, so I decided to book a lesson for my son. My son really enjoyed the lesson and found Jim's teaching style engaging and interactive. Jim was able to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand, and he tailored the lesson to my son's interests, which made the learning experience even more enjoyable. Geoffrey is very knowledgeable and a very good communicator, on top of being generally helpful and easy-going. In my first lesson with him, he already already taught me more than I had hoped for and shared valuable advice.
