Teaches and cultivates a passion for History and Geography - holds a Master's degree in International Relations and a double Bachelor's degree in History and GeographyTranslate this text using Google Translate.

(!) I am only available via video conference at the moment. I am conducting my research abroad. Hello, My name is Ciryl, and I offer History and Geography study methods and knowledge courses for all levels. My goal is to provide genuine support by instilling a passion for history and geography—two humanities disciplines that are constantly evolving! A Swiss national, I hold a Master's degree in Russia and Central Europe from the GSI (Global Studies Institute) at the University of Geneva. This multidisciplinary program focuses on geopolitics and contemporary history. I have had the opportunity to explore the Russian-speaking world through internships and field research (IFEAC, CEFRES). I hold a Bachelor's degree in History and a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Planning. Active in several associations (University Disability Support Network, AFEV) and with extensive teaching experience, I find great pleasure in providing personalized support to enthusiastic learners. I offer tutoring in History and Geography, with a multidisciplinary approach that incorporates sociology, international relations, and literature. The course content is tailored to the student's level, specializations, and needs. Having learned the scientific method, I am ready to expand my knowledge to specific regions and periods. The course is suitable for all levels: methodological support for university students; success in competitive exams (high school diploma, university entrance exams); knowledge acquisition; or simply exploring the intricacies of the past and its territories. Feel free to let me know about your projects, needs or emergencies! Regards, Ciryl

Support in history and geography // Personalized working method.Translate this text using Google Translate.

Thank you for visiting my profile! Here is my course offer, my strengths and information on my background. A question? Write to me! Until Secondary 3, I offer tutoring in all subjects, most often in mathematics and English (and therefore also: French, history, geography, working method for science, Latin and Dutch). From 4th to Rhéto, I still offer support in French, English, history and geography. Regardless of the student's year, I also help when preparing assignments, presentations and oral presentations. At the student's request, we can also take stock of the presence, diction and intonation for public speaking. MY ASSETS - Relaxed relationship - Student empowerment - Concentration and stress management - A top working method! WHO AM I? My name is Valérie and I am 31 years old. Multi-graduate, I remain an eternal student. Even when I was little, still at the beginning of my primary schooling, I was looking for ways to learn more easily. This search for rapid and effective study continued with me during secondary school, to which was added the challenge of following them in English immersion. The personal learning methods that I had developed took on even more meaning when the thick university syllabi piled up on my desk. As with everyone, university learning remained a challenge to overcome. However, my methods have allowed me to mix quantities of subjects over the years: political science, sociology, intercultural management, anthropology, museology... Versatile and jack of all trades, I have also followed various personal development training courses. , or even in art therapy. Today I am taking up a challenge that invites me to explore other ways of enriching myself and learning: I am starting my 3rd year at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy in Namur where I train in singing classic. These studies differ in many aspects from those I have accomplished so far. Therefore, they offer me the chance to seek to understand all the more how to adapt my methods to very diverse subjects. In this busy course, I have been giving private lessons for over 10 years. I am enriched by contact with the students and it is a wonderful reward to see them develop their own methods and rediscover their abilities and skills.

Would you like to learn more about History, or do you have a particular interest in Ancient History, Art History or any other aspect of the Ancient World? If the answer is yes, I am here to teach you and take you on a trip to past historical periods, learning the keys of each culture, and enjoying learning about ancient empires, wars, society and the diversity of people that shaped the world in which we live today. I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have also taught Spanish to foreign students at from primary and secondary levels and higher education. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds. My experience to communicate to different types of audiences have been enhanced through my work as a contributing writer for the National Geographic History Magazine. In these classes you will be able to learn, depending on your choices...: - To recognise the main artworks of the Art world History. - To wander through the art of the Ancient World. - To identify the key aspects of historical periods. - To identify the main artworks and understand the sociocultural contexts of production. - To carry out iconographical analysis of specific artworks. - The Archaeology of Greece and Rome. The variety of topics and subjects we can cover will vary depending on the interest of the student. From general Art History lessons to very specific ones, such as the Art of the Roman World and the Provinces, or different tours through Pompeii, Herculaneum and other legendary cities of the Ancient World such as Rome, Athens, and many more. If you are interested in taking Art History & Archaeology lessons for fun or for your studies, please do not hesitate to contact me to discuss further options. Thank you, Rubén M.

Excellent Teacher! Paula is really a fabulous teacher. She explains everything so simply and also lets me know the difference between a natural way of talking and a more formal way of writing. She's happy to go with the flow and work on what I need rather than follow a very strict, inflexible class structure. This creates a more organic class which suits me. It's clear she's passionate about making engaging and fun classes, where I'm learning exactly what I need. I throughly recommend!

Françoise, is perfect, not only as a teacher, but as a human being. Teaching my son Brad, who is stressed, with poor results at school, as compared with his little sister, of whom he is jealous, with her brilliant results in the french language. Isn't an easy task. I pray that Françoise will stay with us, until the end of July, and longer, much longer if required. My wife, Brad and I are so happy to have found her.

Ruben is very nice, patient and professional! He is coming to my house for private lessons and i already learned a lot. He makes the lessons fun and motivating and gives useful explanations that an app just can‘t provide. I‘m looking forward to keep studying with him and improve my spanish.
