Did you know that Spanish has more native speakers in the world than English? Spanish is the official language of 20 countries and it's a great language to know when travelling or making businesses! I am a Native-Spanish Speaker from Panama and have been tutoring and teaching Spanish & Art since 2009. I know how hard it can be to learn a new language, but in this course my goal is for you to learn in the most fun and dynamic way as possible. You will learn the basics of Spanish and it's grammar so you can communicate, slang from different Spanish-speaking countries (it's good to know when travelling and making new friends!), and conversational Spanish skills using complete sentences and good pronunciation.

Spanish is the second most spoken language in the world after Chinese (yes, before English! I've just checked). If you are learning Spanish at any level or just starting, I can help you. It can be also just casual conversation to lose the fear of speaking.

I specialise in Spanish lessons. I am a master student in Molecular Biomedicine in UCPH with a thrive to teach my mother tongue to people that want to learn spanish. First of all let me introduce myself, Im Felipe a recent Law graduate in Spain and Brazil that just moved to the Netherlands to follow my studies. I enrolled in a international trade masters at UvA and will love to teach languages on my spare time. I have no knowledge of dutch so far but I guess that wont be much of a problem, we could communicate in english. Regarding the expertise and background in these two languages, Spanish is my mother tongue and I have spent 2 years -as an university exchange student - in Portuguese speaking countries ( Portugal and Brazil).My teaching methodology can adapt to the pupil, from just general conversation to a more certificate preparation approach. I am using different methods depending on the level and age of the person. Before the first lesson, I'll test their level and goal and then I propose a studying plan. I send them exercises by email after each lesson and correct them (for free) during my free time for them to improve faster. The lessons are taken in my beautiful sailing boat but I can also come to my student's place with an extra cost for the transport. I also can give webcam lessons. When the weather allows it, I sometimes propose to my students to give them the lesson with bonus sailing! (in this case only for conversation lessons).

We also work with images, sounds and videos so that the student can recognize, interpret for themselves and improve their hearing ability. At the basic and intermediate levels I use a system where the student can listen, copy and repeat information similar to the beginning of learning their native language. I assign homework after each lesson and report student progress month by month. I specialize in students being able to maintain a fluent conversation in Spanish using class time to improve pronunciation and fluency. This class is for those looking to practice and better their Spanish skills. The focus of the class will be any topic that the student chooses, I will help them practice the vocabulary related to that topic, and the grammar needed to express themselves. I will make sure I adapt to their needs and their level. My only hope is that by the end of each lesson the student feels more confident in their own skills.

Spanish is one of the languages with more native speakers in the world. This class is aimed at people who either want to start learning the language or has already some knowledge. I am a native Spanish speaker who works as a translator and Spanish editor. I have years of experience with private tutoring and teaching English and Spanish at language schools in Spain and Denmark.

Most of my experience in tutoring Spanish is helping students with a medium and advanced level of Spanish. I mostly work with articles and papers to help students to improve reading skills and to expand vocabulary. The topics will depend on the students interests.
