Trusted teacher: In my Spanish lessons, you are the main character. Everything is personalized to you, from the content, to the pace, the activities and the interests you have. 😊 📚 These is what a Caro’s Spanish lesson looks like: ✔ Introduction and Needs Assessment: We start with a warm welcome and initiate a conversation to understand your goals, proficiency level, preferred learning style, and any specific areas you want to focus on (e.g., grammar, vocabulary, conversation skills). ✔ Customized Learning Plan: Based on the needs assessment, I develop a personalized learning plan outlining the objectives, topics, and activities for the session. Incorporating materials and resources that align with your interests, such as topics related to your hobbies, career, or areas of passion. ✔ Interactive Learning Activities: I like my classes to be engaging with a variety of interactive activities. For example: Role-playing scenarios relevant to your daily life or profession to practice conversational skills. Games and quizzes to reinforce vocabulary and grammar concepts in an enjoyable way. Cultural exploration activities, such as discussing Spanish traditions, cuisine, or literature, to deepen your understanding of the language in context. ✔ Continuous Feedback and Adjustments: Throughout the lesson, I provide constructive feedback and encouragement to support your progress. ✔Reflection and Goal Setting: Normally I finish the lesson with a brief reflection session, allowing you to share your thoughts, insights, and anything you found difficult. I look forward to joining your Spanish learning journey and making it a fun, interactive, and practical path. ✨

Raquel - SpainC$37
Trusted teacher: I am Raquel Rojo, from Barcelona by birth and passionate about researching and teaching foreign languages. I have a Master in ELE (Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language) and a tireless adventurer. I have lived and taught Spanish on 4 continents in the last 20 years, helping more than 1000 students achieve it. I am co-creator of the methodology, a highly effective learning approach in learning Spanish. I combine Design Thinking techniques, gamification and the use of errors as a learning engine. At the same time, you will be able to learn to communicate in Spanish without long and abstract grammatical explanations thanks to the use of visual grammar learning methodology. And all classes are action-oriented, learning through concrete and real practice of the language. I'll wait for you! Trusted teacher: I have been a teacher of Spanish as a foreign language for more than 6 years now. I have worked in one of the most prestigious schools nationwide. Currently, I am working both as a Spanish for foreign students and English teacher at the Catholic University of Valencia. I hold a bachelor's degree in English and German studies and two master's degrees: one specialized in teaching English and the other in Spanish as a Foreign Language. Thanks to my experience in other schools and my university training, I apply different pedagogic and didactic strategies. I am knowledgeable about various teaching procedures and methods. I adapt to each of my students' needs. I teach students of any age. I consider myself a very extroverted and dynamic teacher. I am really fond of teaching and seeing the progress of my students. Also, I enjoy learning when I teach and carrying out research about language teaching in order to be up to date with it. I do not teach students from the university I work at. Miguel

When I asked my two teenagers (19 & 17) what their favorite part of our recent month in Spain was, both of them independently said that their Spanish lessons with Miguel were a highlight. We are complete beginners as native English speakers from Australia and we all had a lot of fun learning from Miguel as a family. We met in the relaxed atmosphere of a lovely café in Russafa. He showed up prepared for lessons and happily answered the many questions my son and daughter had - not just about language but also about Spanish culture. He helped us distinguish between different types / localities when it comes to Spanish. He built our confidence to use what we had learned. He practised with us as we learned. And he encouraged our curiosity. Miguel is a lovely, kind man and we look forward to continuing our lessons with him online now that we are back in Aus. Son, 17 - "He made it fun to learn" Daughter, 19 - “The lessons were super fun and I was always looking forward to going to them and learning more. I wish we had been able to do more lessons while we were there”.

Spanish class for travelers & expats with a Colombian teacher in a fun and friendly atmosphere. (Bogotá)
Karen

Not only a talented language teacher, Karen is an enthusiastic, cultured and engaging conversationalist. You may choose to just have well spirited discussion, focus on a variety of themes ranging from business oriented to purely recreational, or do a deep dive into a specific aspect of the language. If you are more than complete beginner, I'd recommend avoiding to speak a single word of English. Keen on making you progress, you may also ask her to correct all of your mistakes to avoid learning bad habits. If you are new to Bogota, she will go out of her way to make you feel comfortable in it and give you tips coming from a true local.

Nayeli is an excellent teacher who designs your lessons according to your level but also your areas of interest. She uses various teaching methods and materials including writing exercises, videos, audio materials, and fun games. She also prepares individual PowerPoint presentations and homework for you, which you receive after each lesson. I am really enjoying my lessons with her as she is very kind, patient, and open-minded. I can wholeheartedly recommend Nayeli to everyone who wants to learn Spanish, no matter what level. ¡Gracias, Nayeli!
