Trusted teacher: I am a physics student at the University of Amsterdam where I started my Masters in Theoretical Physics in September 2023. Passionate about maths and physics since I was little, I plan to continue my university studies and do a doctorate, in the goal of becoming a researcher. But math hasn't always been easy for me. In 3rd humanity, I had great difficulty in math and I had to take private lessons from a great teacher. The classes not only helped me a lot, but also taught me to love math. Passing on my passion in an active way has become important to me, and I hope to be able to help other students in difficulty as I have been helped! During a private lesson, I am attentive, patient and I adapt to the rhythm of each person. At first we discuss the theory and I make sure that it is well understood by the student. Then, to learn math, practice is the key! I always try to give adapted exercises and correct mistakes together, because understanding your mistakes is the basis for progress. The way of teaching is as important as the content of the course, which is why I make it a point of honor to prepare my lessons in advance and to always be available to answer my students' questions. My courses are aimed at all humanities and university students who have difficulties in mathematics or physics, whether one-off or for longer follow-up.

Trusted teacher: Hi everyone! I have been teaching private courses in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics for 9 years. It is my passion to prepare my students for the future with school and exam studies. When I won the Anatolian Teacher High School in Istanbul in 2008 and Boğaziçi University in 2012, my biggest goal was to be a reliable role model for my students in the future. I am very happy that I have now made this dream come true since the year I entered university. Until this time, I have taught private lessons at secondary, high school and university level to numerous students from Turkey and abroad. I still continue to give private lessons on the online platform and teach Physics at an International School in Istanbul where California Education Standards (Cognia) are adopted. It is my passion to prepare my students for the future with school and exam studies. I am currently teaching for SAT Exam Preparation. SAT Subject Tests includes Physics, Math, Chemistry and Biology. I can teach both IB and American Curriculum as well. I teach my lessons on Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Classroom, depending on the student' request. Inquiry Based Learning which I have adopted as a teaching method; it enables me to teach lessons based on inquiry and always keeping the student & teacher dialogue dynamic. I strive to progress depending on the age and level of the student. For this, I aim to explain myself, the way I study and understand my student's expectations and level. After the level has been determined, it is of great importance for me that the student knows the lesson plan and draft as well and adheres to the jointly agreed schedule. I share pdfs and documents that I have prepared before the class and use the books by Pearson, Serway, Nowicki, Sarquis and so on for University & Secondary School Level. For Middle School, I use HMH Science Modules etc. I do emphasize the importance on giving homework/assignment and return as giving ''feedforwards'' for my students. As someone in love with her job, it is my greatest motivation to direct the students to professions they can do with love. Trusted teacher: What benefits you get from my Teaching classes: 1) I am not very strict when it comes to extra time. We can extend a bit. +10 mins is no problem. I always think that long sessions with small pauses are better so that you get a grip of the topic. 2) I can teach in group as well as alone , what suits you best. In case you are out for a break and don't want to lag behind in comparison to what is going on in school we, can have some back to back classes in short time, if that suits you. Teaching has been a long time passion for me. I have taught already some candidates (look testimonials below) and during my colleges days I have held classes with several group of students. After moving to University I was also delivering sessions for my classmates from different parts of the world and I was in-charge of specific experiment for Bachelors and Masters students as well for a year. About Me I had Mathematics and Science in my School time where I scored 95/100 in Maths and 99/100 in Sciences (Indian First stage of Scientific Education) and then 95/100 again in Mathematic for exams Just before University. Due to love for machines I pursued Mechanical Engineering and then specialized in Materials Science (Physics and Chemistry of Materials). In a nutshell I am a Materials Scientist. Our 7 year old son has had several lessons so far with Arif, and we have had a an excellent experience. We have been sharing the computer screen (using Zoom) with Arif as our son works through problems on Khan Academy. Arif has shown a lot of patience and a willingness to try and try again when our son is having trouble understanding a concept. The lessons have helped to motivate our son, and we are grateful to Arif for his help.

Berin is a great teacher that has a lot of material and practice questions you can use for studying and reviewing your knowledge.
