My name is Yuto from Japan.
I have around five years of experience teaching private piano lessons, working with students of different ages and levels. My goal is to support each student in building confidence, developing solid technique, and discovering their own musicality.

Currently, I study the Taubman Approach under Hans Schellevis, a certified Taubman instructor. The Taubman Approach focuses on efficient piano technique that avoids unnecessary tension, pain, and discomfort, allowing pianists to experience greater freedom, ease, and a wider range of musical expression.

As a pianist, I have received awards at the PTNA Piano Competition, one of Japan’s largest and most prestigious piano competitions, in 2013. I was also a prize recipient at the Yamaha Piano Festival in 2009 and 2010.

I am currently studying at ArtEZ Univercity of Arts in Zwolle, where I continue to deepen my musical knowledge and performance skills.

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced pianist, I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students can enjoy playing the piano with comfort, confidence, and freedom.

If you would like, I can also organize a small presentation concert to celebrate your progress.

Education

I started studying piano at the age of 4 under the guidance of Yuka Sasaki, Naoko Nozato, Naohiro Tatsumi, Kyousei Kaminaga, and Hans Schellevis. I am currently studying at ArtEZ University of the Arts in Zwolle.

I participated in a master class with Deren Eryilmaz, a Master Certified Teacher of the Taubman Approach, in 2026.

- INDEPENDENCE
There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece.

- HEALTHY HABITS
Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method.

- ENJOY
Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too.

- PERSONALIZATION
Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.

My name is Ana and I am a 25-year-old pianist, graduated from her master's degree in ArtEZ University of the Arts in Zwolle. I come from Spain, but I live and work in The Netherlands. I studied for my piano bachelor's in Spain and finish with the highest marks. Also, I have experience as a performer and I have won some prizes in national and international competitions.
Apart from my piano career, I also have a lot of pedagogical training and experience teaching, both individual and group lessons. I can teach people of all ages and all levels.

I give private lessons in Zwolle to students of all levels. Mainly piano lessons, but also chamber music and music theory.
Students of all levels are welcome.
The classes can be in English, Spanish or Dutch.
The duration and frequency of lessons is flexible, depending on the age and preferences of the student. Normally for adults or teenagers the lessons are one hour long and for younger children a bit shorter, but it depends on the individual.
