Math ans Physics can be a real burden for some students, the target of this class is exaclty making them bearable and help the students find their own way into the subjects. The priority will always be the student feeling comfortable in studying and finding the best way to approach Math. The lessons will be targeted on the specific level of the students and the objectives will be defined together at the beginning of the classes.

Hello all, I am Rotem (24), I am a guitarist and a composer, and currently pursuing my master's in music composition and theory in ZHdK. I graduated with honors studying jazz performance with classical composition as a side subject from New England Conservatory (Boston). I have been performing, touring and teaching around the world: New York, Washington DC, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, and more! I have grown up with educaiton both in jazz and classical practices, and therefore am very versatile and fluent with both worlds which i believe creates a unique and interesting perspective for approaching music. In our lessons, we could focus on anything you'd like to: guitar, music theory, composition, ear training, electronic music, improvisation (jazz and free improvisation), rhythm, and many more. This course increases speed and fluency of Mandarin Chinese with expanding vocabularies and idioms in conversation, reading comprehension and written expression. Topics cover daily activities, relationships, college life, employment, Chinese customs, traveling, geography, social issues, current events and comparisons between Chinese and American cultures.

This course is an introduction to standard Mandarin Chinese language, catering to both students with little to no prior background in Mandarin and those aiming to improve their existing skills. Students will concentrate on acquiring essential vocabulary, refining pronunciation, and grasping basic grammatical structures. Through this foundation, students will develop the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin within everyday contexts. The course emphasizes practical listening and speaking exercises, alongside instruction in reading and writing Chinese characters. Also, students can explore the culture in China.
