Classical music Piano lessons for children and adults

From 128 C$ /h

Your piano classes will be tailored to you and your goals. My aim is to help students learn to play the piano in a rewarding and fun way! I believe the key to efficient and enjoyable learning comes from understanding what's in and behind the music, instead of practicing mechanically. I earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Piano and classical music with distinction from the Boccherini Institute of Lucca and the Pergolesi Conservatory of Fermo in Italy. I also have a degree in Neuroscience, so I know how our brain learns!
I may be available even at times outside the "availability table".

Would you like to learn viola, violin or piano? I am happy to support you with creativity and patience in the learning process. The most important thing for me is that the focus is on enjoying making music and developing at your own pace.
In the summer of 2022 I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Classical Music at the Basel Music Academy. After an internship at a special education school in Winterthur, I have been studying speech therapy in Zurich since 2023 and play the viola in orchestral projects, various chamber music formations and the violin in a band.
I look forward to welcoming you to my classes soon!

I have 10 years of experience in being a music instructor. That's not only piano lessons, it's also a theory of music, history of music, and vocal and orchestral projects.

I've worked with students from all around the world - most of them attended the American School of Warsaw and the British School of Warsaw. The idea is not only to teach how to play the right notes and to know the main composers, but I also want my students to feel the music, to be able to find out what the idea of an art piece is. It is also very important for me to encourage a child to find his own style of playing. From my point of view, there are no people deaf to music, just people who aren’t acquainted with music, till now!

It is well known that music classes are not only pleasant but as well music classes are very helpful and important in a child’s education and development. Kids who play instruments learn languages faster and more productively, focus better, and it has been shown to perform better in math and science. My own experience and that of my students show me that music has a positive effect on a student's overall education results.

Moreover, music is not just an art, it is the language of the soul, waiting to speak for your child's feelings and moods.

My piano lessons are focused on the aim and purpose you have with piano studying. For example, if you are an adult who wants to do it as a hobby, the approach would be relaxed, based on learning the pieces you like the most (with some suggestions by me) and on improving the technique you need for it. If you are a child, the approach will be fun, motivating an interest in music. If you're someone looking forward to an application to some public or professional music school, I will help you build the program in a very professional way. I specialize in classical music, holding a degree and Master's in piano, and I'm looking forward to pursuing my second Master's in pedagogy; although I've also taken classes about improvisation and modern piano music if you're more into that.

I offer piano lessons suitable for students of all ages and levels. I have two Master's Degrees in Piano and 8 years of teaching experience working with children as young as 4 years old as well as adults. I aim to make my lesson fun and engaging while incorporating the essential theory and musicianship skills needed to provide a well-rounded musical education. Each student is different, so I therefore create an individual curriculum for each one, allowing them to learn at their own pace while playing music they enjoy!

Learn to love singing

I help my students find their own voice and express themselves with confidence - whether they love pop, musical theatre, or classical singing.

As an internationally performing soprano specialising in Baroque music, I perform in opera productions and concerts on prestigious stages across Europe and beyond. Based in Switzerland, I bring my professional stage experience, musical knowledge and passion for singing into every lesson.

My goal is simple: to help you develop your voice, discover your unique sound, and enjoy expressing yourself through music. I love sharing everything I have learned throughout my career with my wonderful students.

I have been playing piano for 15 years and have had the opportunity to gain concert experience both nationally and internationally, as well as participate in various competitions. I was awarded first prize with distinction at the Swiss Youth Music Competition. Furthermore, I have had the opportunity to study with renowned professors such as Dmitri Alexeev, Jacques Rouvier, and Mikhail Voskresensky. Currently, I am a medical student at ETH Zurich.

I want to share these diverse experiences and my passion for playing the piano – regardless of whether you're just starting out or already have experience. It's important to me to tailor the lessons to each student's individual needs and, above all, to foster their enjoyment of music.

It is important to me to motivate my students and share my passion for music with them. We begin with the basics and build upon them step by step to create a solid foundation for musical understanding and technical skills. I place great emphasis on the individuality of each student and provide ample space for personal musical development.
