About Me

Born and raised in Brussels. I discovered the world of the DAW ́s (Digital Audio Workstation) at the age of 13 with FL Studio. Since then I ́ve been making non stop music. Bad music, and good music. Nowadays I mainly work with Ableton Live. I know my way around it and like it. Between all the music I completed a degree in history and also did some teaching for a short time.

Hello, I'm Sam :)

As a music producer I've been working with Ableton live for both recording and making music as well as Live performances.

I'm comfortable using Ableton stock plugins but also 3th party plugins such as Fabfilter plugins (Q3, R, L2,...) and making percussive sounds with Serum (or Operator in Ableton).
I also do a lot of sounddesign using my prophet 6 or record guitar and make it stand out in the mix.

Ableton Live is a great program, but it takes a while to get the hang of it. I have been working with it for 7 years and am starting to know it inside and out. It speeds up your creation process enormously if you know the software well. Otherwise it can take a long time and you get discouraged faster. In addition to Ableton Live, I am also starting to know Max. This is not a DAW but a visual programming language that is often used by artists because you do not have to learn to write code for it right away. You can use it to make music, but also for lights and video. It is a very deep program with many possibilities. I can give you the basics of this.
