I teach one to one violin, Piano, Viola and Music Theory lessons, both live and online, more online at present due to the lockdown. I teach any age groups from 5 year olds to adult learners. On violin I teach beginner to grade 8 and beyond and beginner to grade 8 music theory. I can also teach beginner to grade 6 on piano and Viola. I can enter students for music exams, festivals and help them with orchestral auditions. Or if they want to learn just for fun I can do that as well.

3+ years experience in teaching, including IELTS prep. Dedicated to help. I also have experience in teaching Arabic and Turkish. I have helped students succeed in IELTS, focusing on building confidence in pronunciation, fluency, sentence structure, grammar and writing skills.

I'm a classically trained bass player with 28+ years experience. I offer tuition on the electric bass guitar covering everything from fundamentals to writing basslines and advanced techniques. I also offer music technology lessons. Whatever DAW you use I will cover; recording, mixing and mastering. Also the use of EQ, compression, reverb, delay and other effects which can colour a mix.

I will be able to teach History or English up to GCSE level, covering topics on the GCSE specifications. I have worked in a range of roles in secondary schools for 5 years teaching both History and English at GCSE. I have worked with students with SEND needs, more able 'grade 9' students and I currently work with students with emotional and behavioural needs. I have been recognised as an 'outstanding' teacher during an Ofsted inspection last year and also passed my teacher training with a 1 (outstanding).

We teach one-one tailored lessons, specializing in early maths, early English, 11+ and GCSE.
